Objectives of the
Training Course Overview

Main Objective: The program will cover following core sessions:


 Earthquake resistant design philosophy
 To provide training to civil engineers/practitioners on
seismic vulnerability assessment of existing buildings  Basics of seismic evaluation and rehabilitation
in Nepal. After completion of the training the  Seismic evaluation of buildings by qualitative method
participants should be able to determine the probable
 Case study and seismic evaluation of RC frame and
performance of existing building in large scale

earthquakes.
 Field visit and seismic evaluation of the selected
