o The “lead writer” responsibility included (but was not limited to): Standardization of syllabi,
ensuring appropriate and thorough distribution of CACREP accreditation standards across
the curriculum; leading faculty in the development of Program Objectives, Student Learning
Outcomes, and Professional Dispositions consistent with CACREP requirements;
Collaboration with faculty to identify CACREP key performance indicators (KPI) in the
core curriculum and across the three entry-level specialty areas (Clinical Mental Health;
Marriage, Couple, and Family; and School Counseling); Identification of multiple measuring
points of all KPIs across the program of study for all students; Development of
measures/evaluation methods for KPIs; Producing a Program Evaluation Manual detailing
how data are gathered, analyzed, and how results inform Program modifications;
Researching University policies, procedures, and statistical data; Researching evidence-based
recruitment strategies for the recruitment and retention of minority students; Soliciting,
editing, and compiling narratives from faculty and staff regarding their respective areas of
expertise/responsibility; Clearly presenting extant data gathered 2015 – 2018; Organizing
information for clarity; Soliciting, compiling, and organizing supporting documentation in
collaboration with Dr. Edita Ruzgyte; Creating a clear Appendix of support documentation,

“Unified Curriculum” starting in August, 2017, including determining advising points and
materials for existing students who remained on the prior curriculum, problem-solving
during the transition phase of offering both curricula simultaneously, and informing and
