Communication Management
Description: Ensure that all communications are received / transmitted in a proper manner with appropriate
authorisation and in accordance with established instructions.
Record Keeping
Description: Maintain accurate vehicle and staff movement logs and ensure all staff movements are recorded
and reported properly to the Sub-office or any other concerned entities.
Functional Equipment
Description: Ensure that all radio and telecommunication communication is functional and well maintained and
any defects are reported timely.

Supervisor's Comments
The set objectives were adjusted to be aligned with the tasks the staff member is expected to be performing until
the close of the year.
The staff member has so far demonstrated that he will meet the set objectives.
Employee Comments: As a telecom operator, I have performed well with integrity by considering the
responsibilities on radio communication operations which include following the
proper functioning of communication devices, collecting data and reporting on
time to Assosa Radio room, full presence in the radio room and following up of
movement , working in collaboration with staff and the security admins on the
safe movement of staff.Beside these during the absence of Tongo FU Snr
Admin Assistant I have also assisted staffs with administrative activities which
includs following up of the proper operation of different devices in Tongo guest
house, purchasing of different utilities inconsultation with the Head of Field
Office, following up payment of daily and incentive workers and settlment of
payments. I look forward to maintain identified gaps if found in the evaluation.
PERFORMANCE SUMMARY
Supervisor Comments
Mr. Aman ABDELMEHAMUD met the three objectives we had set out to work on. He was able to transit
incoming and outgoing communication with the necessary professionalism. Communication logs and vehicle
movement logs were all compiled and kept relatively well.
Mr. ABDELMEHAMUD demonstrated flexibility and team work by being willing and able to take on additional
administration responsibilities whenever the colleague responsible for Administration in Tongo was out of the
duty station. We demonstrated will for continuous learning by accepting to be guided and taught how to do
administration related tasks.
Values and competences were demonstrated by Mr. ABDELMEHAMUD during the appraisal period. He
demonstrated respect for by working efficiently and effectively with new staff that came to join the Tongo team
part of the workforce for the then newly established camp Gure-Shombola. While saving as Administration
person (acting) he had to manage the very needs, demands and expectations of the new colleagues. He
demonstrated accountability and proper management of UNHCR resources having served as an alternate petty
cash custodian.
As a manager I continue to encourage Mr. ABDELMEHAMUD to keep working on improving on report writing
skills in order to increase his chances of career development.
