Good day!

I am Phyllis Grae Grande, film producer from Manila. I am humbly writing to you to ask for
permission to shoot in your city for our film, Sage of Time. I am currently working with
independent filmmakers from Australia, Luke Mayze and Shing Fung Cheung, who are about to
shoot their first full-length film, and they have chosen to shoot in the Philippines. The title of the
film is Sage of Time, and it’s a romance film about a man and woman who used to be together but
got separated and met again in an unlikely place – in Vigan.

We have visited Vigan last November to do a location check and they loved it very much. We plan
to shoot this February 28 to March 9, with scenes mostly in Casa de Gabriela, the Bell tower, and
the Lyric bar. There will also be some walking and jeepney scenes around the city. Since this is an
independent film, we will only be bringing a few number of crew – around 15 – with our two
actors.

I humbly ask for your permission to let us shoot our film in Vigan and provide us with a Day Care
Center that can be used as an orphanage during the shoot. We are hoping to work with you soon.
