Getting started

Welcome to the Beiersdorf CEE Region

We are a well-known international company in the field of


consumer goods with 15 affiliates in the centraleast-
european region and regionales headquarter in Vienna.

The Beiersdorf CEE has been in 2008 the third largest


region within the Beiersdorf affiliates group, has a market-
leading position in the cosmetic within the CEE countries
and a corresponding importance in the company.

Business Policy
Our mission is to contribute to BDF's shareholder value by focusing on sales and profit
development.

We want to achive it with lean structures, appropiate internal job sharing and avoid the
establishment of costly fully fledged affiliates in all countries.

Austrian managment is regional office and provider of service centre functions. We will make use of
the most qualified resources.

People Management is essential. With the selection process, training and coaching we'll make sure
that we have the best international people for our culture (good co-operation / win-win situation).

Basic management style is Management by Objectives combined with a lean structure that requires
a wide management span and a high degree of delegation. This high degree of freedom requires
greater attention to the agreement of objectives, control and appraisal.

We continously improve by learning from each other and from mistakes. We value conflicts for
problem solving purposes.

• already first practical experience

Contract and Remuneration

• working agreements of trainee-programs are terminable (24 months)


and modelled on the general terms of employment

• after traineeship: indefinite take-over if possible

place of work: Vienna / + 6 months in a CEE subsidiary
