My current and past work experiences have influenced my commitment to peace and conflict resolution and helped me expanded my leadership skills. I am associated with Bharti Foundation (one of the premier development organization in the country) Since June 2017 as an Academic Mentor. I mentor 29 schools in Kashmir and my work revolves around improving the quality of education provided to the students. Prior to Bharti Foundation, I have a 5-year work experience with CHINAR International wherein I worked as a Project Head – Youth Development. I designed and executed projects related to sustainable livelihood for conflict-hit youth. There are several significant projects that have influenced my passion for peace and conflict resolution. Many of these projects have improved the quality in the life of the beneficiaries. Two of these projects include Pilot of adopting 5 government-run schools and Livelihood support program. I also took the lead in flood relief work in 2014 under this flagship rescue & rehabilitation project we reached to more than 90k people helping them on immediate need base, constructing more than 250 houses, installing water purifiers in 5 localities, restoring the livelihood of around 50 families etc. How do you meet the specifications for this role? As an in charge of SBI YFI fellow support, where will you lead SBI YFI in next 2 years and how are you going to achieve that? How do you align your long-term career vision with this role? How comfortable are you with frequent travel to remote villages across India?
