LECTURE   ONE  

LESSON   ONE 

Introduction 

All   o ver   the   world   there   is   a  c ommon   d esire   that   is   found   in   all   human   b eings, 

irrespective   o f   their   c olour,   race,   age,   s ex,   c reed   o r   p rofession.   that   d esire   is   the 

desire   to   b e   s uccessful.   However   no   o ne   s ucceed   b y   accident   .  every   s uccess   s tory 

result   from   making   a  d eliberate   c hoice   to   s ucceed.   this   is   then   b acked   up   b y   a 

discovery   and   c ontinuous   application   o f   the   relevant   p rinciples   o f   s uccess   as   found 

in   s criptures   for   nothing   functions   without   p rinciples.  

Definition: 

Generally   S uccess   c an   be   defined   a s   follows: 

A.   Having   a  favourable   o utcome 

B.   To   have   things   turned   o ut   as   p lanned  

C.   attaining   a  d esired   goal  

D.   To   receive   result   hoped   for  

Success   for   believers   c enters   from   God: 

A.   T he   c ontinuous   attainment   o f   God's   s et   goal 

B.   T he   attainment   o f   God's   p lan   and   p urpose   for   an   individual

Jer   29:11.   T his   s uccess   p lan   o f   God   is   revealed   to   man   gradually.   it   d oes   s o   in 

stages   o ne   after   the   o ther   till   we   get   the   p erfect   d ay.   s uccess   at   o ne   s tep   d etermines 

the   next   higher   level   until   the   ultimate   is   achieved  

Success   is   generally   measured   b y   most   p eople   in   terms   o f   the   q uality   and   q uantity 

of   material   things   o ne   p ossesses.   While   this   material   things   are   good   and   o ften 

accompany   s uccess   b ut   they   are   not   the   true   makers   o f   s uccess.   o therwise   many 

celebrated   heroes   o f   faith   will   amount   to   miserable   failures   while   o bvious   c rooks 

will   b e   c alled   s uccessful. 

LESSON   TWO 

The   b eginning   of   S uccess 

Success   b egins   when   an   individual   realises   that   he's   b orn   for   a  p urpose   Jer   1:5   no 

matter   the   c ircumstances   o f   your   b irth,   you   must   understand   that   your   b irth   was   nit 

accidental.   If   you   were   not   b orn   there   will   b e   a  gap   in   history. 

 
 

LESSON   THREE 

Types   of   S uccess 

there   are   three   types   o f   s uccess 

1.   Human   S uccess 

2.   S atanic   S uccess 

3.   Covenant/   Divine   S uccess  

A. Human   success :  Human   s uccess   is   b ased   o n   human   p rinciples,   traditions 

and   methods.   the   d riving   force   for   human   s uccess   is   s elf   with   little   o r   no 

room   for   o thers   and   no   regard   for   c hristian   values.   it   o nly   goes   for   what   c an 

be   grabbed.   it   is   c haracterised   b y   much   s truggles   mental   exertion 

B. Satanic   S uccess :  this   is   b ased   o n   evil   p rinciples   c ompletely   c ontrary   to 

God's   words.   here   the   way   up   is   p ulling   o thers   d own   as   s atan   d id   Gen 

3:1­15.   it   always   result   in   d isgrace.   Esther   6:1­   end.  

C. Covenant/   Divine   S uccess:   s uccess   b ased   o n   God's   p rinciples   and   His 

words   p salm   1  1­3   Joshua   1:8   it   is   totally   d riven   b y   god's   will.   the   target   o f 

divine   s uccess   is   the   expansion   o f   God's   kingdom   o n   earth   it   is   a  never 

ending   s uccess

Locate   S uccess 

Success   is   not   a  native   o f   any   land.   S uccess   is   available   in   any   land   and   it   is   a 

function   o f   what   you   know   and   applied.   e.g   Joseph   Gen   41:39   Jacob   Gen   30:37­39

everything   c reated   is   a  s olution   to   a  p roblem.   the   fact   that   we   are   b orn   reveals   that 

God   s aw   a  p roblem   that   c an   never   b e   s olved   without   you.

A.   T he   Book:   the   first   tool   God   d elivered   to   Joshua   for   s uccess   was   the   b ook   o f 

the   law   which   means   the   word   o f   God.   the   b ook   is   o ur   s uccess   s ecurity   c ode   that 

must   b e   read. 

B.   T he   Art:   the   s econd   tool   that   is   necessary   for   s uccess   is   the   art   o f   meditation.   to 

meditate   means: 

● To   p onder  

● To   imagine 

● To   mutter 

● Talk   to   s elf

1. Review:   this   involves   re­reading   with   more   attentions   and   c oncentration   than 

at   your   first   attempts

several   o thers   to   accomplish   it.   T his   is   why   you   need   a  team. 

what   is   a   team?    a  team   c onsist   o f   two   o r   more   individuals   b ond   together   b y   a

Money   is   important   in   the   excision   o f   your   d ream   for   without   it   your   d ream   may   b e

Guidelines   to   raise   Money   for   your   Dreams  

A.   P lan   to   S ave:   when   you   have   s et   s ome   goals,   it   is   wise   to   b egin   to   p ut   s ome 

money   aside,   to   assist   in   the   fulfillment   o f   those   goals  

B.   S ell   w hat   you   have:   there   is   a  gift   God   has   d eposited   in   everyone   you   c an   use 

your   gift   to   make   money   o r   p robably   p roperties   2King   4:2 

C.   Discuss   w ith   p eople   w ho   b elieve   i n   you   a nd   i n   your   v ision:  

D.   Engage   i n   fundamental   l aw   of   p rosperity:   T his   is   s owing   into   the   life   o f 

people   

LESSON   NINE 

Dealing   With   Oppositions 

every   God   given   vision   will   d efinitely   p rovoke   a  reaction   from   the   Kingdom   o f
