A. Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding of the benefits that the family can derive
from participating in indoor recreational activities.
B. Performance Standard: The learner takes part in indoor recreational activities that promote lifelong
fitness and wellness in the family.
C. Learning Competencies : .
1. Discuss the nature and background of the game Chess.
2. interpret rules and regulations of the game scrabble;
3. Explain the benefits that can be derived from playing Chess.
4. Apply knowledge of rules and regulations and strategies in playing.
5. Practice proper and acceptable behavior when playing Chess.
