In the sampling process, suppliers demonstrate that they have complied with the
requirements of the customer (Daimler AG). The positive result of initial sampling is series
shipping approval. In a new product project (vehicle launch), sampling starts with QG C of
the product development process in accordance with the MDS and ends at the latest when
Sampling Sampling the first production test begins (Pro1). In series production, sampling for change years and
model refinements must be carried out in accordance with VDA Vol. 2 and MBST13.
Sampling reasons must also be given in accordance with these requirements. The conditions
for achieving series shipping approval must be reviewed at appropriate intervals by the
supplier (re-qualification).

Sampling plan Sampling The sampling plan documented the plan process prepend a sampling.

There are three types of sampling: Technical sampling (encompasses sampling, part and

parts received at the QM unloading point have successfully undergone a plausibility check,
sampling capability is ensured and specialist verifications are assigned.
The sampling reason is the reason why sampling is performed. A distinction is made here
between "initial sampling" and "miscellaneous samples". Initial sampling may only be carried
out with parts originating from production tools and manufactured entirely using standard
