Interview with Mrs.

What is the production about? The production is about the life of
P.T Barnum, who owns a circus. It is the old version of The Greatest
Showman.

Who helped produce it? In our production there is me (Mrs John),

Miss Jenkins, Mrs Mays, Miss Pennington and we worked with a
circus company called Organised Kaos.

Where is the play set? It is set in America.

When is the play set? When, it was set… it was set in the 1800s

Why did you decide to perform Barnum? It is a production we have

always wanted to do, and when I contacted the circus company, they
were willing to work with us. So that's why we decided to do it.

How did you practise the acrobatic part of the play? We had
rehearsals with the circus company Organised Kaos every
Wednesday, so the day they practiced the acrobatics with them then
they practiced the circus things, like the juggling, the unicycle, and
the stilts. So they practiced on a Wednesday, and we did our
rehearsals on a Thursday. And then the aerials, they weren't any of
our pupils due to Health and Safety.
