3. Objective of the course
After the completion of this course students will be able to:
 Develop basic skills of utilizing mathematical tools needed to analyze and design classical linear
dynamic control systems.
 To implement controllers and are aware of standard industrial practices
 Design basic controllers to enhance the performance of systems in both the frequency domain and
the time domain
 Demonstrate how to analyze a system based on the stability and the response characteristics.
 Design a controller for a system by using conventional control design and modern control design
methodologies
