SPAT IA L A R R A NG E ME NT A NA LYSIS

With the current shop layouts, the internal and external spaces are completely
separate and do not interact with one another. The first step in re-thinking the
design concept is to create a stronger connection between the internal and
INTERIOR
external (pull factor).

The primary attractors (the restrooms and ATM), are currently an external element
as they can be accessed only from the exterior of the building. Currently the main
entrance to the shop is located to the far end of the building and the current
glazed facade is closed which acts as a boundary between the external and
internal spaces EXTERIOR

By rearranging the order of the entrances and bringing primary attractors (public LEGEND
WC & ATM) into the interior, the public will interact more closely with the
interior spaces and provide oppurtunity to engage with secondary attractors (the PRIMARY ATTRACTOR
convenience store and coffee shop).
SECONDARY ATTRACTOR

With our ORYX Plus concept, Primary attractors are shifted to the interior of the PRIMARY AXIS
building, the front facade is opened up - opening it up to the street, walkway and
car wash. Additional entrances are added to aid with circulation. SECONDARY AXIS
