TCC Dual Credit Registration Steps and Information

1. Make sure that you have registered for Dual classes in Eduthings
11th grade options: English 3-1065, US History 4004
12th grade options: English 4 - 1103, Government 4304, Economics 4332
(If you are a returning Dual Student skip to step #5 after registering in Eduthings)

2. Complete your Apply Texas application: Apply Texas

3. Sign up for TSI Testing at KHS if needed: 2019 TSI Sign-ups for Students New to Dual
Credit.
a. KHS Test dates are March 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th.
b. You may go to a TCC campus to take the TSI if these dates do not work. The
student is responsible for returning a copy of the scores to KHS for
documentation purposes.

4. TSI Exemption: Go to Exemptions based on SAT or ACT Scores to check whether you
meet exemption standards. If so, please order official score reports from either the
CollegeBoard.com or ACTStudent.org to be sent directly to TCC. If you don’t meet these
standards, you must take the TSI and meet the minimum requirements to take Dual
courses.

5. All Students are encouraged to submit a FERPA Form via the students’ TCC email directly
to TCC. Without a FERPA form on file, TCC will not communicate with parents.

6. All students will need to complete the Online Readiness unless previously completed.
The Online Readiness link is: https://tccd-1035.readi.info/login - if first attempt is
unsuccessful, student may retake after 24 hours.

7. All Students planning on taking a SUMMER 2019 Course must register on the TCC
Web-Advisor beginning March 25, 2019. Click here for further information on
enrollment for summer or click on the Video of Instructions on How to Register online
At the conclusion of the summer session(s), the student must order a copy of their TCC
transcript to be sent to KHS so that the academic history can be completed.

8. All Students taking classes in the FALL of 2019 will need to register on the TCC Web-
Advisor beginning April 22, 2019. Further instructions

9. ALL Students and parents should join our 2019-20 Remind System. This will be how we
communicate important information to our Dual Students - Text @62dd68 to the
number 81010.
