Ease of Use – HTML5 Views to replace Java applets

What:
– New HTML5 EPS, Activity and Resource Assignment views
– EPS and Activity views have a majority of the functionality that exists today in the
applet versions
– Resource Assignment view is a basic view with a resource centric Gantt
Why:
– Advancing Technology and customer demand to have an applet free version of
Primavera P6 so that our customers can benefit from the full value of Primavera P6
– Consistent with our cloud goals for having a true thin client application

Cloud Improvements

• Primavera Virtual Desktop Cloud Service is now available

– Primavera Virtual Desktop is an optional offering for our Primavera P6 EPPM Cloud
customers who have users that access Primavera P6 Professional client application. This
offering is a PGBU implementation of Oracle Secure Global Desktop which is an Oracle
alternative to Citrix.
• Eventing options are now available in Primavera P6 Web, Application Settings
• Cloud Administration Application enhancements:
– Quick filters to view User Status
– Manage password policy directly in Cloud Administration Application rather than Oracle
Identity Management
– Configure and Assign a single Password Policy to multiple organizations
• Continued Primavera P6 Pro Cloud Connect improvements
