This bar chart illustrates the amount of males and females studying in part-time

and full-time education in three different periods: 1970 to 1971, 1980 to 1981,
and 1990 to 1991.

As we can see, in all these periods more people of both genders were involved in
part-time education. Overall, the number of men involved in full-time education
fluctuated around the mark of 1000, and the number of men in part-time
education rose gradually throughout the given periods.

In the matter of women, the numbers show a steady upward trend in both full-
time and part-time education. The amount of part-time female students went up
significantly in a 20 year period, and an increase in full-time education section
was more stable, but in general it was similar to the growth for full-time male
students.

To sum up, the amount of female students in both sectors went up markedly,
whereas the number of men in part-time sector fluctuated and even slightly
declined.
