Ideas to be Emphasized and Overall Developmental Focus:


1. There are many parts of a school bus like the lights, stop sign, wheels, seats, mirrors.
2. There are different forms of transportation other than school buses and those are cars,
trucks, trains, and plains.
3. We will focus on taking turns during out activities and while we are on the bus.

Creative Art: Description: In this activity, the children will be -Black Construction paper

OUTDOOR PLAY 9:10 – 10:00 a.m. Location: South Playground

Gross Motor: Activity Description: For this activity, the large -Tumble mats (GG)
Tumble Mats outdoor mats will be laid out on the playground -Tumble shapes (GG)

and raised mats. The tumble shape mats will be
laid out as well so the children can go over the
shapes and experience the different contour of
their bodies.

Description: In this activity, we will split our 4 groups -Paint 4 Colors (RR1
into two and have one group (10 Children) inside C1)
and creating art with the paint and plastic cars to -Paint trays (RR1 C19)
draw the different types of tracks and explore the -Trays 4 (RR1)
different tire widths and other patters. The second -Plastic Cars (RR2
activity (10 Children) will be outside exploring and Blocks 176)
learning safety of being around a school bus. We will -Paper (RR1 C3)

B likes to play with motor vehicles toys and this


activity will allow him to have the opportunity to work
on others emotions by working on sharing and how
that helps other feel happy when we can all share
toys.

Fish Felt Story

Five little fish, swimming in the sea.


Teasing Mr. Shark, you can’t catch me, you can’t catch me.
Along came Mr. shark, quiet as can be… and SNAP!
He got away! Now there’s only four little fish swimming in the sea…
(Repeat until not more fish)
Where did the fish go? Oh! They were playing a game. They were hiding!
