EDUCATIONAL NOTICE
Admission in Degree Courses in Engineering/ Technology and Architecture in the
Institutions outside Assam against the Seats Reserved for the candidates of Assam

It is for information to all the aspiring candidates that MHRD, Government of India has
reserved 19 (nineteen) seats (as mentioned in the Seat Matrix below) in Degree Courses in
Engineering/ Technology and Architecture in different AICTE recognised Technical Institutions
outside Assam for the candidates of Assam.
These seats will be allotted based on All India Rank of JEE (Main)-2018 by CSAB-NEUT 2018 for
which candidates have to apply online in website www.csab.nic.in.

General Procedure for Application:

I. The allotment of seat will be entirely done by on line counselling through CSAB-NEUT 2018
(Central Seat Allocation Board for North Eastern States & Union Territories) based on All
India Rank of JEE (Main)-2018.
II. Directorate of Technical Education, Assam will be the Help and Reporting Centre for the State
of Assam. Document verification will be done at the Reporting Centre.
III. Selected candidates, who are allotted seat, will have to submit a DD of ₹3000/- (Rupees three
thousand only) in favour of “MNIT Jaipur CSAB 2018” at the time of reporting to the Reporting
Centre. A part of this fee ₹2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) will be refundable to those
candidates who surrender their seats through dedicated portal before Spot round of allotment within
stipulated time.

2. In the Spot round, all the vacant reserved seats will be de-reserved in case of non-

irrespective of the category.
