Mr. M. Namasivayam
Retd. Divisional Officer, Tamil Nadu Fire & Rescue Services Department
Mr. Namasivayam is a senior fire safety professional with more than 35 years of
experience and is currently working as Head, Fire & Safety, DLF, IT Park, Ramapuram,
Chennai. He has done his M.A., B.Ed. and M.B.A. He has also successfully completed
Advanced Diploma in Fire Engineering from National Fire Service College (NFSC),
Nagpur, M. I. Fire E. (UK) - Level 4 an International Exam by ‘The Institution of Fire
Engineers’, UK, P.G. Diploma in Industrial Safety, M.Sc. - Disaster Management and
NEBOSH – IGC.
Mr. Namasivayam has been a Major Disasters Responded for Ooty Landslide, Chennai Flash Flood & Tsunami,
Coimbatore Bomb Blast and Gujarat Earthquake. He has also attended many serious Industrial & High Rise
Building Fires and other Rescue Activities & Special Calls. He is the recipient of Chief Minster’s Gallantry Award for
two times in the year 2005 and 2009 (Rescue Events). He is Fellow & Hon. Secretary of The Institution of Fire
Engineers, UK., Southern India Branch, Chennai and Member of various other National and International Fire,
Safety and Security Forums. He is a Guest Faculty for Anna Institute of Management, T.N.E.B., P.W.D Training
Institutes, Police Academy, Chennai and National Fire Service College, Nagpur and is actively working as
Fire Safety Auditor & Risk Assessment Consultant.

Mr. Rajesh Ramaswamy

Mr. R. Rajesh is a safety professional with more than 23 years of industrial experience. He has
completed his BE (Mechanical) from Anna University, Chennai and PG Diploma in Industrial Safety
from Regional Labour Institutes, Chennai. He is a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
Certified Fire Protection Specialist. He has been trained for Personal Empowerment in
Emergency Response.
Mr. Rajesh has conducted a number of training programmes for on varied safety related topics which
includes topic like Fire Safety and Emergency, Disaster Management, Electrical Safety. He has been
a distinguished speaker for various National & International conference organized by Directorate
General of Factories & Advisory Labour Institute (DGFASLI) and Govt. of India.
