humourous, raw and dynamic piece

Sydney.
A man and woman search online for
the ultimate connection. She’s a
feisty redhead, short statured (1
metre), searching for the perfect
mate…..He is a 6ft Asian computer
gamer, boxed in, a slave to his next
adrenalin rush. They communicate,
interact….they engage. But is it a
substitute for true contact?

Nikki Heywood (Director/Outside Eye)
Nikki’s work spans 23 years as a
performer, director and dramaturg. She
has been involved as a performer and
director with Version 1.0, group work
with Burn Sonata which featured at the
1998 Adelaide Festival and toured
nationally in 2000. Her dramaturgical
work includes Dean Walsh’s Flesh
Memo and Back from Front and Karen
Therese’s Sleeplessness. Nikki was
awarded the Arts NSW’s Rex
Cramphorn Scholarship in 2005.
Jon Creenaune (Composer/ Operator)
Jonathon Creenaune has been
composing and producing music, both
live and electronic, for the last 4 years.
He is also a saxophonist with close to
20 years' experience, having studied at
the Sydney Conservatorium - and he
can be regularly found playing at
Paddington's Elephant and
Wheelbarrow on Friday nights. He also
has an interest in sound design for
theatre, having operated sound for the
comedy show "Insert Comedy" on their
tour to the 2005 Melbourne Comedy
Festival.
Ash Wednesday (Lighting Operator)
Originating from an experimental music,
theatre background within Australia, Ash
has been a live performance member of
legendary German music group,
Einstuerzende Neubauten, since 1997.
He has contributed to numerous
Michael Richardson (Lighting Design)
Michael has been involved in theatre
production for several years and works
as a freelance technician to pay the
bills. He is a lighting designer,
production manager, sound designer
and technical director depending on the
occasion. He has designed lights for
quite a few productions including
Medea, Accidental Death of An
Anarchist, All Quiet on the Y-Front, Pulp
Fiction and numerous Medical and Law
Revues. He recently designed lights for
Nice Guys Finish Fast at The Crypt
theatre and sound for Twelfth Night.
Michael also likes lighting rock and roll.

Company. She performed in and co-
produced The Maids. She branched into
physical theatre with PlazaReal which led
to devising her own show One More Than
One. 2007’s repertoire also includes
Sideshow Alley (new Oz musical) and
King Lear in Tasmania. She has been
involved in many corporate events as The
Divine Miss Em. She’s also Artistic
Director of Atypical Theatre Company, a
company that focuses on fair
representation of disability in Performing
Arts.
