Instruction to Author
Medical and Health Sciences of Nahdlatul Ulama University of Surabaya publish
original research article, case report, or literature review in the scope of medical and
health. This journal is published by Medical Faculty and Public Health Faculty,
Nahdlatul Ulama University of Surabaya, with peer review system for article
selection. Please consider to attach Cover Letter, Authors’ personal data, and
Conflict of Interest Declaration. Please click for details.

Manuscript Submission
Manuscript containing original writing are accepted for consideration. Manuscripts
will not be accepted for publication unless the following editorial requiretements
are met.
Type of articles:
1. Research article. Full length clinical, basic medical and community research.
2. Case report. Medical and health case reports that need to be disseminated. The
format consists of title, abstract, introduction, case, discussion and references.
3. Study literature (review article). Consists of new method or approach,
knowledge, and technologies in the scope of medical and health.

Writing instruction
The manuscript should not exceed 10 printed pages (double spaced, A4 size sheets,
Times new roman 12 point font size). The acceptable format are Microsoft Words
file maximum 5 MB. For detailed information regarding writing instruction, please
see below.
SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their
submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be
returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal
for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect
document file format (.doc, .docx, .rtf).
3. Upload Cover Letter, Authors’ personal data, and Conflict of Interest Declaration.
in one Suppl. files (.doc, .docx, or .pdf)
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than
underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables
are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in
the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

WRITING INSTRUCTION.

Article submitted should follow the structural order below:

Title page and autorship:
Provide the full title, full name highest awarded academic degree. And institutional
affiliation of each author. Information on coresponding author for reprins nad full
contact infomation should be included the title of the article should not exceed 40
characters. (One spaced, A4 size sheets, Times new roman 14 point font size)

Structured abstract and keyword:

Abstract should include the following headling: Objective, method, results nad
conclusion. A journal abstract should contain sufficient infromation epicting the
conduct and findings a trial, study, or observation which are optimally presented in
no more that 250 words. It should also emphasize on new and important aspects of
the trial, study or observation. Three to five key words or short pharses that will
assist indexers incross-indexing the article should be provide below the abstract and
written in alphabetical order.(One space, A4 size sheets, Times new roman 12 point
font size)

The Manuscript:
Both observation and experimental article are divided into the following sections:
Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion (IMRAD). Please click here for
details. Authors are strongly encouraged to limit the article lenght to 3,500 words for
effective and efficient communication. The length does not include the running title,
title page, abstract, and references. Only 6 tables, figures, and charts in total are
allowed. The spelled-out abbreviation followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis
should be used on first mention unless the abbreviation is a standard unit
measurement. Begin references on a new page. (double spaced, A4 size sheets,
Times new roman 12 point font size).

Tables
Tables should by typed in one-spaced, and should be titled and numbered in Arabic
numeral system in th eorder of first citation in the text. Table (s) is included in the
text and also compiled on a separated page. Do not use vertical linesbetween
columns. Use horizontal line above and below the column headings and at the
bottom of the table only.Abbreviation used in the table must be defined in a footnote
to the table. Indicate footnotes in this order of **.#.

Photos/images/charts
Photo/images/charts should be umbered in accordance with the appearance in the text.

References
References should be written according to the Vancouver style rules and numbered
consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text using
EndNote and Mendeley. Only six authors are allowed to be included in a reference
item. When the number of authors for a reference item is more than six, the six first
names should be written down and “et al.” should be added for the other authors. The
number of reference items is maximum 20 (twenty). Eighty percents of the
references should be from journals. References that are published less than 10 years
ago should contribute eighty percents of the total references. Reference citation in
text should be identified by a number without brackets in superscript at the end of
sentence. References for article that has been accepted and writing to be publish in
journal should be written as `in press`. Please see below for detailed information
about references.

Ilmu Kesehatan dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya

mempublikasikan artikel penelitian asli, laporan kasus, atau tinjauan literatur
di bidang kesehatan dan kesehatan. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Fakultas
Kedokteran dan Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama
Surabaya, dengan sistem peer review untuk pemilihan artikel. Harap
pertimbangkan untuk melampirkan Surat Lamaran, data pribadi Pengarang,
dan Deklarasi Konflik Kepentingan. Silahkan klik untuk rinciannya.

Penyerahan naskah

Naskah yang berisi tulisan asli diterima untuk dipertimbangkan. Naskah tidak
akan diterima untuk publikasi kecuali jika persyaratan editorial berikut
terpenuhi.

Jenis artikel:

1. artikel penelitian Riset medis dan penelitian medis dasar lengkap, lengkap.

2. Laporan kasus. Laporan kesehatan dan kesehatan yang perlu disebarluaskan.

Formatnya terdiri dari judul, abstrak, pendahuluan, case, diskusi dan referensi.

3. Studi literatur (review artikel). Terdiri dari metode atau pendekatan baru,
pengetahuan, dan teknologi dalam lingkup medis dan kesehatan.

Instruksi menulis

Naskahnya tidak boleh melebihi 10 halaman tercetak (dua spasi, ukuran A4,
Times new roman 12 point font size). Format yang dapat diterima adalah file
Microsoft Words maksimal 5 MB. Untuk informasi lebih lanjut mengenai
instruksi menulis, silakan lihat di bawah ini.

DAFTAR PERIKSA PENYELESAIAN

Sebagai bagian dari proses pengajuan, penulis diminta untuk memeriksa

kepatuhan pengajuan mereka terhadap semua item berikut, dan kiriman dapat
dikembalikan ke penulis yang tidak mematuhi pedoman ini.

1. Pengajuannya belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya, juga tidak sebelum

jurnal lain dipertimbangkan (atau penjelasan telah diberikan di Komentar
kepada Editor).

2. File pengajuan ada dalam format file dokumen OpenOffice, Microsoft Word,
RTF, atau WordPerfect (.doc, .docx, .rtf).

3. Upload Cover Letter, data pribadi Pengarang, dan Deklarasi Benturan

Kepentingan. dalam satu Suppl. file (.doc, .docx, atau .pdf)

4. Teks itu satu spasi; menggunakan font 12 titik; menggunakan huruf miring,
bukan menggarisbawahi (kecuali dengan alamat URL); dan semua ilustrasi,
gambar, dan tabel ditempatkan di dalam teks pada titik yang tepat, bukan di
akhir.

5. Teks mematuhi persyaratan gaya dan bibliografi yang diuraikan dalam

Pedoman Pengarang, yang terdapat di Tentang Jurnal.

MENULIS INSTRUKSI.

Pasal yang diajukan harus mengikuti tatanan struktural di bawah ini:

Judul halaman dan autentikasi:

Berikan judul lengkap, nama lengkap gelar akademis tertinggi. Dan afiliasi
kelembagaan masing-masing penulis. Informasi tentang penulis coresponding
untuk informasi kontak reprins nad penuh harus disertakan judul artikel tidak
boleh melebihi 40 karakter. (Satu spasi, ukuran A4, Times new romawi 14 point
font size)

Terstruktur abstrak dan kata kunci:

Abstrak harus mencakup headling berikut: Tujuan, metode, menghasilkan
kesimpulan. Jurnal abstrak harus berisi informasi yang memadai mengenai
kejadian dan temuan sebuah percobaan, studi, atau pengamatan yang secara
optimal tidak menyajikan lebih dari 250 kata. Ini juga harus menekankan pada
aspek baru dan penting dari percobaan, studi atau observasi. Tiga sampai lima
kata kunci atau huruf pendek yang akan membantu pengindeksan
pengindeksan keseluruhan artikel harus diberikan di bawah abstrak dan ditulis
dalam urutan abjad. (Satu spasi, lembar ukuran A4, Times new roman 12 point
font size)

Manuskrip:

Baik observasi maupun eksperimen dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian berikut:

Pendahuluan, Metode, Hasil, dan Pembahasan (IMRAD). Silahkan klik disini
untuk rinciannya. Penulis sangat terdorong untuk membatasi panjang artikel
hingga 3.500 kata untuk komunikasi yang efektif dan efisien. Panjangnya tidak
termasuk judul lari, halaman judul, abstrak, dan referensi. Hanya 6 tabel,
angka, dan grafik yang diperbolehkan. Singkatan terbilang diikuti oleh
singkatan dalam kurung harus digunakan pada penyebutan pertama kecuali
singkatannya adalah ukuran satuan standar. Mulailah referensi di halaman
baru. (dua spasi, ukuran A4, Times new roman 12 point font size).

Tabel

Tabel harus dengan mengetik dalam satu spasi, dan harus diberi judul dan
diberi nomor dalam sistem angka Arab dalam kutipan pertama dalam teks.
Tabel (s) termasuk dalam teks dan juga disusun pada halaman terpisah. Jangan
gunakan garis vertikal di antara kolom. Gunakan garis horizontal di atas dan
di bawah judul kolom dan di bagian bawah tabel saja. Singkatan yang
digunakan dalam tabel harus didefinisikan dalam catatan kaki ke tabel.
Tunjukkan catatan kaki dalam urutan **.

Foto / gambar / grafik

Foto / gambar / grafik harus dibagikan sesuai dengan tampilan teks.

Referensi

Referensi harus ditulis sesuai dengan peraturan gaya Vancouver dan diberi
nomor berturut-turut sesuai urutan yang pertama kali disebutkan
dalam teks menggunakan EndNote dan Mendeley. Hanya enam penulis
yang diizinkan untuk disertakan dalam item referensi. Bila jumlah
penulis untuk item referensi lebih dari enam, enam nama pertama harus
ditulis dan "et al." Harus ditambahkan untuk penulis lainnya. Jumlah
item referensi maksimal 20 (dua puluh). Delapan puluh persen referensi
harus berasal dari jurnal. Referensi yang diterbitkan kurang dari 10
tahun yang lalu harus menyumbang delapan puluh persen dari total
referensi. Kutipan referensi dalam teks harus diidentifikasi dengan
nomor tanpa tanda kurung pada superskrip pada akhir kalimat.
Referensi untuk artikel yang telah diterima dan tulisan yang akan
dipublikasikan di jurnal harus ditulis sebagai `in press`. Silakan lihat di
