This course is needed to introduce theory, concept and implementation of management information
system effectively in an organization. In addition, students are hoped to understand how the right
models, techniques and methods of management information system are able to solve problems in
real working environment. At the end of study, students will be able to build ideas, skills and apply a
proposal of problem solving based on real environment requirements.

13. Synopsis :
This course introduces the concept of Total Solution for MIS (SAP). It will comprise a principal,
framework, importance and issue in managing an information system. Fosuc also given on
Management information resources, strategic management and quality management of an
organization. In addition, management information system models in an organization such as DSS,
EIS, ES and MIS are also discussed.
