7‐Mode Scalability Limitations
A maximum of two FAS controllers can be configured as a High Availability
HA Pair and managed as a paired system.
Disks owned by Controller 1 will be accessed through Controller 1.
There is a limit on the maximum of amount of disks and throughput that can
be handled by a single node.
You could purchase additional HA Pairs, but they would be managed as and
appear to clients as separate systems.
Data can be moved easily and non‐disruptively between disks on the same
controller, but moving data between controllers or systems is disruptive to
clients and more complicated.
