Job Description of a Site Engineer

A site engineer forms part of the site management team and is responsible to carry out the
following tasks:
 Solve technical issues by providing advices
 Quality control
 Supervision of materials and people
 Responsible for the health and safety of workers
 Liaise with clients, representatives and any consultants
 Organise and plan works to ensure deadlines are respected
 Constantly checking CAD, PID drawings to ensure that the project is going the right way
The following are the skills required to be a site engineer:
 Be able to work in all weather conditions
 Should have a certain level of fitness to work in confined spaces and less accessible places.
 Good numerical and analytical skills
 Good writing skills to produce excellent reports
 Be able to work under pressure
