Having a good university degree guarantees people to get a good job.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is often said that high acedemic results at university is a sign of future career progression.
Although I accept the importance of a good university degree, I believe that we should consider
other factors such as work experience and some abilities which are not taught during the terms.

On the one hand, I agree that high education indicators are essential to get your foot in the
door. It is a fact that in some occupations such as accountancy, strategic management and project
management therotical knowledge which we get at university is necessary for carrying out work.
For this reason, in some cases recruiters require job-related diploma and high GPA. Moreover,
most employers think like that good universtiy results indicate high intellectual skills and these
candidates have enviable perception and analitical abilities.

On the other hand, I believe that there are some other consideration like work experience,
communication skills which we shoul pay attention to ensure getting a desired job. It is true that
employers prefer experienced workers rather than a newly qualified university graduates who has
barely stepped foot in an office environment before. Therefore, students are enthusiastic about
involving in internship programmes and working as a volunteer in organization due to get work
experience (bu sözü nə ilə əvəzləyə bilərəm?). Furhtermore, sometimes organizations operating
in service areas hire employees who have a good communication skills in order to guarantee
consumer satisfaction.

In conclusion, high education background is vital for a good career life; however, we can’t
deny other qualifications like work experience and a good communication skill.
