Teaching Philosophy
I believe in creating a classroom where my students can feel safe and respected. It is my goal to
have a student-centered classroom where I base each lesson around the individual needs of
each class, and have goals focused on student learning. As a science teacher, I want to create
and authentic learning environment where students can see how their learning relates to the
world around them. I will also incorporate 21st century skills practice into my classroom to
further enhance my instruction.
