Asant
Asant, also called
Asafetida, or "stinking
asant," is the resin or
secretion of a tropical
plant. It is a powerful
stimulant, and it
prevents flatulence,
clears the intestines of
old excrement, gets rid
of parasites, stabilizes
intestinal flora, and
eases cramps and pain.
Asant works much like
garlic, but it is more
effective. It makes
lentil and bean dishes
easier to digest. Use
asant with ginger and
cardamom, or cumin and
coriander. Garlic,
asant, ginger powder,
and chili fight stomach
and intestinal Candida
infections.
Garlic
Volumes have been
written about the

it successfully for

it improves digestion

levels, and
triglycerides. Some
people report that it
prevents blood clots and
the car- diac and
circulatory problems
that threaten meat-
eaters. In addition,
garlic stimulates the
immune system and fights
bronchitis and other
infections, and colds.
