CRISIS CASE MANAGER (ON-CALL), ROBERT BROWN CRISIS CENTER
Manage 6-bed AFC facility by operating within an interdisciplinary team to address diverse,
vulnerable population’s crises related to mental health and suicide, their environment, and
substance use disorders. Equip clients with psychoeducation and practical problem-solving
skills to manage symptomology and crisis recidivism.
• Construct and monitor client charts from intake to discharge
• Collaborate with clients to complete biopsychosocials, assessment of immediate needs,
and treatment plans to licensing standards.
• Complete daily assessment of clients’ mental health symptomology and safety risk, and
conduct safety planning.
• Engage in skill building through evidenced based practice (ex: Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)
• Advocate for aftercare by coordinating with community resources and implementing
continuing stay reviews with payee to reduce vulnerability and readmittance.
• Provide emergency staffing by facilitating psychoeducational groups, direct care, and
supervising interns.
• Attend trainings: Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) and Naloxone (Narcan)
