a lot of benefits for them. However, many people become victims after accessing the
internet. In this essay, I will discuss the benefits and dangers of the internet.
The internet has many benefits. One of these benefits of Internet is it is the medium of
communication. There are many facilities on the internet helps us to communicate each
other such as E-mail, Facebook, Twitter and others. All these facilities enable people to
communicate with other people from different countries around the world so that it can
explore other cultures of different ethnicity. Also, Internet is a medium of information.
Today, a lot of people need the information from the internet. Because every second on
the internet, updates the information required by humans. For instance, Google and
Yahoo are search engine information on the internet that provide all kinds of topics the
information we need. Furthermore, Internet is a medium of entertainment. Internet
becomes successful because it provides a lot of entertainment that humans need. For
example, today many people are watching or downloading free entertainment on the
internet, and many people are playing on-line games.
In contrary, the internet has a lot of disadvantages. The fact of the matter is that the
internet has thousands of porn sites. This is the greatest threat to human life, especially
the children. There have been many people who became victims of pornographic sites
on the internet. For example, now in Indonesia, many teenage girls lost their virgin. That
is because porn sites affect their lifestyle so that they eliminate the virgin with boyfriend
easily. Also, the Internet sends viruses to your computer. When your computer connects
to the internet it is often the case that a virus attacks your computer hard disk. In addition,
many people steal personal information on the internet. The case is often occurring in
today’s world, when people save personal information such as name, address, credit card
number, and others, so many criminals will access the data. Therefore, beware of internet
because it has a lot of harm to human life.
In conclusion, I believe that the Internet helps people in the communications, information
and entertainment. However, the Internet also has much negative side. Therefore, use
the internet for positive things so that we get a lot of benefits.

Internet is one of the most important inventions in history. It is a network of milions of

computers around the world, connected by phone lines, satellites or cables. Millions of
people from all over the world use it every day, so I think that Internet has more
advantages than disadvantages.

Internet has made the world a real global village which permits us to travel, pay bills or
do the shopping without going out from our houses. We can read newspapers, play
games or even plan our holidays. A huge merit of Internet is a possibility to download
music and films in no time.

We can also communicate with other people from all over the world by means of programs
like IRC, ICQ or GG. We can join a newsgroup and share our special interests with each
other. A very useful thing is an electronic mail, because it is faster than regular post and
even air mail.

Internet offers a lot of information from every branch of knowledge, so you can find
everything for your schoolwork or job there, or just find more about your hobbies.

Unfortunately, Internet has several drawbacks, especially in Poland. In our country

intrernet is still too expensive and connections are not fast. Generally, one disadvantage
of the Internet is a danger of getting used to it, computer can become a drug for some
people.In Internet there is so much information that finding what you want can take hours.
Other bad point of internet are some web sites which are not suitable for children, for
example sites about violence, sex or sects.

In conclusion, Internet has more good sides than bad ones, and I think that it's improving
all the time, so in the future it will be still better.

everywhere in the world. The Internet provides many useful utilities for users but
besides that it also has negative. I will analysis advantages and disadvantages of
Internet specifically.

information with other people around the world.

Another benefit, there are many services on internet. Such as online banking,

for you choose.
Online education is also popular on the internet. Many websites provide lectures,
books and documents on different subjects or topics. You can also download these
lectures into your own computer. You can listen and see these lectures repeatedly
and get a lot of knowledge.
 Besides, there are also disadvantages. Children can connect to these websites that
are for adult only. They can see the information which is not good. This is perhaps the
biggest threat related to your children's healthy mental life.
Another drawback, today, Internet is the most popular source of spreading viruses.
These viruses create different problems in your computer .Viruses that can attack your
privacy and get some information about you. It’s hard to predict what will happen if
you were hacked the account information.
The next drawback is accuracy of information. A lot of information stored is stored
on the websites. Some information may be incorrect or not. Sometimes you may be
confused.
Another problem is the wastage of times. A lot of time is wasted to collect the
information on the Internet. Some people waste a lot of time in chatting or to play
games.
At home and offices, many people use Internet without any positive purpose.
In conclusion, there are many advantages and disadvantages of the Internet,
Depend on you, it will be the advantages or disadvantage. You should balance study
and play.

colonization will also evolve which may pose certain power pressure on the local
governments of the less developed countries. Unemployment rates in the more
developed regions such as Europe may also escalate as corporations choose to
outsource to the cheaper work force from Asian countries.
In conclusion. I like to reiterate that globalization is inevitable and we must urge
individuals, companies and governments to use a more balanced approach by taking the
appropriate steps to deal with matters relating to the financial or economical gains verses
the social, political or ecological concerns of the world.
