- Strategy:

“Devise and maintain a clearly, stated focused strategy”

Business strategy allows a company to develop a clear understanding of its own organization.
This helps a company to focus on what is needed to deliver the best performance, profit and
productivity in future. To effectively lay out a groundwork for the right strategy, whether it’s
competing on low price or providing many benefits is through understanding the marketplace
and how it operates. Which then leads to devise it and puts a liability to consistently
communicate it to customers, stakeholders and employees.

- Execution:

“Develop and maintain flawless operational execution”

Organizations enter the industry to win the market and stagnancy is the factor which could
show an organization way to exit. So, to be a steady winner; a company must increase it’s
productivity by about twice the industry’s average.

The most important activity which a company must focus on, is operations. Walmart and
Target raised the bar of a store design, product availability and customer service and we can
also witness the shift o paying attention to this factor in our developing Pakistani economy;
stores like Save-mart. Sometimes, a customer might not reward you for the quality you’re
giving but punish you severely for not meeting the expectations. So, it is the most important
job of an organization to determine which processes are most important to meet their customer
needs and focus their energies and resources on making those processes as efficient as possible.

- Culture:

“Develop and maintain a performance-oriented culture”

Working, investing and rewarding your employees is more important than any other facet. If
an organization provides an environment where employees enjoy themselves, they are more
likely to remain loyal to the company. As Richard Branson (CEO Hyperloop) said: Clients do
not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care
of the clients.

Winning organizations design and support a culture that encourages, outstanding individuals
and team contributions, one that holds employees – not just managers – responsible for success.
To become a winning organization, one has not to do different things from competitors, but do
things differently. Winning companies are so disciplined, that they are scrupulous in setting
specific goals, raising the bar every year and enforcing those benchmarks e.g. Evergreen
winners establish and abide by clear company values, giving employees a reason to embrace
the organizations. It is the culture that extracts the best out of each team member and a right
culture brings all employees on a common platform.
