Day 1

It is my first time traveling to Ilocos, there is hesitation at first but when the travel agency
held a seminar at the school assuring our safety and showing us the itinerary for the whole
trip, I felt secured and excited at the same time since we will be visiting one of the most
famous spots in Ilocos. On day 1, we assemble at the front of school for us to check our
assigned busses and give us name tag with phone number on it while on the bus before we
leave, the tour guide set some reminders and started praying for a safe trip. It was around
6am when we reached the first destination which Is “Marcos Museum” the tour guide told us
that, before marcos corpse transferred to the libingan ng mga bayani his corpse was lying
inside the museum. In the museum you will see there all his achievements as a politician
even his plate numbers and bar exams results, in one room it was filled of pictures of marcos
and his wife. I feel nostalgic, based on the picture It shows how marcos love his wife and i
admire him for that. Going on our second destination which is “Paoay Church” one of the
oldest churches in the philippines, when i saw the church the building structure Is different
and has a picture prefect scenery. We had our breakfast on “Hidden Garden” we enjoyed the
food and their beautiful landscape that makes the restaurant unique. After the breakfast we
head on to “Malacañang of the north” looking at the view, i feel amazed because the paoay
lake is beside the palace and still elegant despite the lapse of time. When we arrive on the
hotel that we are checking in, i loved the design of the hotel Itself even though there are some
unexpected problems still its been resolved smoothly. After the arrival at the hotel we
headed to our last stop on day 1 whichh is the famous “Sand Dunes”.There is no daylight
when we arrived, we thought we will not experience the ride since its night but when we try
joining the ride the sand dunes is still amazing even at night we are able to capture the scenes
with our own eyes i think this part of the tour that i really enjoyed becausee of the 4x4 truck
ride that is full of adrenaline. One of the most memorable experience in Ilocos that is
definitely worth a try! After the enjoyable ride, we headed to the hotel for a delicious dinner
and after that the most awaited nap time. Its been a long day but worth it.
Day 2

We had our breakfast on the hotel and after that we rush into the bus for the next planned
destination. And on this day i forgot to unplug the battery of my camera on our room, so i
was unable to capture the beautiful views we visited that day. We first headed to the “Salt
making” it is a small house on a first glance you will never know that it’s a factory but it is.
Next is the “Dragonfruit farm” the owners daughter did a little Introduction to the fruits and
its health benefits, it was just amazing that they are able to produce a product In every part
of the dragonfruit. Next stop is “Burgos Windmills” we head first to the seminar about safety
precaution and some tips and also a little information about windmills then we headed on to
the overlooking view of windmills in front of the sea, i really regret not be able to took a
picture of that breathtaking view. While heading back to the bus, we all feel tired but still the
trip continues and headed to the next stop which is “Villa del mar Resort” for our lunch we
are able to relax at the nice beach view of the resort while enjoying our lunch. Next stop is
“Kapurpurawan Rock Formations” it takes a long walk to be able to witness the beautiful
rock formations and views we were advised by the tour guide that we are no longer allowed
to enter the rock formations, it was kinda sad but then the view is so beautiful and feels
satisfying. Our last destination for day 2 is the “Burgos Lighthouse”. It Is one of the oldest
lighthouse and our tour guide told us that one of the purpose of lighthouse is to lead way for
the sailors, i was unable to check the lighthouse since i felt tired walking through the rock
formations and that time the rain pours as well. After the lighthouse we head back to the
hotel to have some dinner and attend the “Mr. and Ms. Ilocandia 2018” that will be held on
the hotel.
Day 3

This is the time we check out on the hotel and kinda sad because we all know that our trip
will end soon, our first destination on day 3 is “Baluarte ni Chavit” wherein the dead body of
animals was preserved on one of the museums there, all of the animals are chavit’s hunt and
