Its integration with source control is very
refreshing. There could be a little bit more maturity
around how to do some of the features, but not
having to go outside the app, not having a
separate set of procedures, allows you to check in
and check out right from within the app. You can
make edits and uploads and undo your checkouts.

great dashboard. It has Bot Insight, it has meta
bots, and IQ Bots. It has so many features where it

One of the features that we have used the most is
an action in the Workbench called Object Cloning.
We find that very reliable and very useful for
implementing different business processes. In
general, the security and role-based access
control - credentials security - are also important.
We have a high focus on security in the bank. It's
obviously a very highly regulated environment, so
security is a top priority for us. To be allowed to

I think it's the ease of use for the developer, so we
can actually make use of people within subject
matter experts rather than having fully fledged
developers, so that's one of the main features.
And, I think, based on that, it is actually the speed
in which we can deliver some of these
automations, so the delivery and the build of the
box is actually much quicker than your
conventional development, so those will be my

It is easy to implement and use to provide training
to people. With a lot of other tools, it is more about
scripting. Whereas with this solution, it has a more
hands on GUI-based feature. It is easy to use and

What I like about Automation Anywhere is the

object cloning and the way you can move the
mouse and either go to a particular point or go to
an element. That's very easy and intuitive in
Automation Anywhere. It gets the job done in
terms of getting the data out of the pages.
Although I have other tools, I still have this habit of
going through the clicks. If you're going through
the clicks, Automation Anywhere is the best. Let's

ORGANIZATION
There was a large number of individuals who were
doing the data collection and artifacts collection,
and they were actually a third-party. The solution
improves our situation in terms of time, money,
and resources. Plus, when you're dealing with a
bank's information, there are additional
complications of privacy concerns. If we can keep
that in-house and have a bot or automated code
take care of it, then there are fewer human eyes
on the private information as well. It's a resource

Through the software, we have been able to
reduce the time that we spend on manual,
repetitive tasks, so that we can focus on activities
that add value to the business or to our partners
and customers. The most important things are
saving time, increasing control, and increasing
automation. If you ask our CFO, I think he would
say that the most important thing is that we saved
some money, with more efficient operations, etc.

A lot of clients I work with have legacy systems
and a lot of API access is not available. Some of
the systems might be running off a server located
somewhere else, while some would be running on
a mainframe and I'm actually restricted to working
with the screen. So these clients have a very good
use case. If I'm working with the screens,

because it gives me the control over the screens.

We just started the implementation. I foresee as
we automated mundane tasks, it will free up time
for the existing workforce that we already have to
do more tasks where they can use their brain to
make decisions. Then, they can think things
through and work on the more complex processes

like our customer satisfaction, so we're supporting
your finest teams, so they are already getting
benefiting it, and very much tedious tasks that

UiPath is user-friendly, so when we are working
with the customer, if they want something
immediately they will jump in. We don't have to
give the level of estimation, then how much price
will be (quote) at all. They don't really talk about
the price or the time. They say, "There is a
problem," and they are very excited about solving
that problem. This excitement is good, and that's
what our CEO has always said, "Immersing

Regarding the integration with source control,
when there's a large number of operations the
bulk operations need a little bit more maturity.
Also, regarding the UI, once you're in some of the
screens there are fixed dialogues. They are a set
size, so there's a lot of horizontal scrolls and
vertical scrolls. Those are things that can be
addressed in the future. The integration and
having it inside the applications are far more
important than these pesky complaints. But I get

The main things I've found that could be better are
small things that can be annoying when you're
using them a lot. I would recommend they add a
feature where, if you mark the start of an "If"
sentence it will highlight the end of the "If"
sentence. That would make it easier to get a
better overview. The small things are the most
important in our day-to-day work with their
software. Incremental improvements for a better
overview or better user experience would help.

Automation Anywhere is troublesome for some
people because of the way it is organized. It's
organized as an encrypted script, which gets run
via a domain-specific language which the user
sees. There's a loss of overhead on the computing
resources in Automation Anywhere. If you have an
encrypted bot, the Automation Anywhere software
has to read it first, decrypt it, and run it. So there is
a potential that, if the logic of the bot isn't good
enough, a lot of CPU and memory overload will

Once we've taken the data that the robot has
done something with, we want to send it over to a
human a lot of times. However, they need it
formatted in a fashion that makes it a little more
readable. It would be nice to have some activities
without the developer having to do a lot of effort
to make the spreadsheet look prettier. Instead, we
should receive a list every time transactions are
performed, and it would be nice if we wouldn't
have to format it every time the robot sent us a

improvements needed in some areas. There are
certain areas that we need to see improvements:
performance, efficiency, and complex
environment. We need to work with the product
manager on these, and say, "Now that everything
has met the industry standards, there's a way to

We've had some serious issues with clients that
are running in Citrix environments, and we've got
a couple clients that have moved away from other
competitors to UiPath and to us because they just
cannot do that screen scraping technology. Yeah,
we're finding a lot of it in a Citrix environment, and
a Citrix environment, on an Azure cloud, on a
virtual machine. So there's various steps, and

What is the biggest difference between UiPath and Automation Anywhere? Which of these two solutions would

There is no dearth of tech comparisons on the internet and both tech offerings will work with 95% of use cases in an identical manner.
I'll share my personal perspective, keeping it non-technical focused. 1. The UI itself. If VB style interface is your thing, go for UiPath. It
was the first thing that turned me off. 2. Cost of entry: very low for UiPath, owing to some really smart and enticing entry-level
innovati90 packaging. Run cost may, however, be the same or more. AA doesn't make it as enticing. 3. Greater code level access and control of

bots using AA is a big plus. 4. UiPath will bend backward to meet a client's need- double thumbs up! AA because of its market
superiority cannot come to imagine themselves needing to defend their marketing position. 5. AA is advancing itself at a very rapid
pace- some very nice changes. But the...

Real-time RPA analytics built into Automation Anywhere, along with IQ BOTS and Metabots is an interesting feature.

Automation Anywhere is a propriety solution of IBM. It is based on conventional software development and does not support a lot of
plugin based architecture. Whereas the UiPath is a plugin based architecture where you can create your own automation plugins and
use within UiPath to solve different problems. Moreover learning curve of UiPath is very less as compared to Automation Anywhere.
