RELATIONSHIP OF MEDIA MEDIA AND LIFE STYLE JUNKFOOD

CONSUMPTION WITH AGES OF MNARCHE IN SISWI CLASS VII IN
SMPN 1 JATIREJO MOJOKERTO

Menarche is the first bleeding of the uterus that occurs in women in puberty
that indicates that teenagers have entered the stage of sexual organ maturity in the
body. Menarche can occur due to several factors that include race, ethnicity,
genetic, social, economic, drugs, mass media, sexual behavior, lifestyle. The
purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of mass media exposure
and lifestyle of junkfood consumption with age of menarche at grade VII students
at SMPN 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto. The research design used is correlation analytic
research. The population in this study were all students who have menstruation of
class VII at SMPN 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto a number of 77 students. Then with
Stratified Random Sampling technique produce sample of 64 female students. The
study was conducted for 1 day with questionnaire research instrument. Data
analysis using crosstab with the help of SPSS V.16. The results showed the more
severe the exposure experienced by the respondents showed the younger the age
of menarche, and the more often junkfood consume the younger age also
menarche. So there is a relationship of mass media exposure and lifestyle of
junkfood consumption with age of menarche at grade VII students at SMPN 1
Jatirejo Mojokerto. In the current era of mass media usage has been very easily
accessed by various age groups and now the instant, practical, cheap and easily
obtainable food is very popular community.

HUBUNGAN KETERPAPARAN MEDIA MASSA DAN GAYA HIDUP

KONSUMSI JUNKFOOD DENGAN USIA MNARCHE PADA SISWI
KELAS VII DI SMPN 1 JATIREJO MOJOKERTO

Menarche merupakan perdarahan pertama kali dari uterus pada wanita di

masa pubertas menandakan remaja sudah memasuki tahap kematangan organ
seksual dalam tubuh. Menarche terjadi karena beberapa faktor meliputi faktor
ras,suku,genetik,sosial,ekonomi,obat-obatan,media massa,perilaku seksual,gaya
hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan keterpaparan
media massa dan gaya hidup konsumsi junkfood dengan usia menarche pada siswi
kelas VII di SMPN 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah
penelitian analitik korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini semua siswi yang sudah
menstruasi kelas VII di SMPN 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto sejumlah 77 siswi.kemudian
dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling mnghasilkan sampel 64 siswi.
Penelitian dilakukan selama 1 hari dengan instrumen penelitian kuesioner. Analisa
data menggunakan crosstab dengan bantuan SPSS V.16. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan semakin berat keterpaparan yang dialami responden menunjukkan
semakin muda usia menarche, dan semakin sering mengkonsumsi junkfood
semakin muda usia menarche. Sehingga ada hubungan keterpaparan media massa
dan gaya hidup konsumsi junkfood dengan usia menarche . Pada era sekarang
penggunaan media massa mudah diakses masyarakat dan saat ini makanan yang
instan, praktis, murah dan mudah didapat sangat digemari
