1.0 INTRODUCTION
2.0

English language comprises Education infrastructure in this country is made

available to help promoted excellence among students. It provides adequate facilities to
help students to learn in the best environment. Good environment promotes emotional
supports that will trigger students to do well in their studies. Due to that, SK Beseri with
collaboration of NUTP of Perlis took the opportunity to promote fun learning activities
through academic program. It was a success program since all students took part in
these activities that designed differently according to their level and it was smoothly run
with the help of all teachers.

It was highly appreciated for the commitments and supports given by our
headmaster, Mr. Nordin bin Abdullah and also Mr. Azizan b Puteh, Chairman of NUTP
Perlis for their time as to make the program runs smoothly. It was a pleasure that our
school could participate in Global Action Week for Education this year with the theme
‘Highly Immersive Programme’ as well as ‘Tuesday is an English Day’.

Hence, with these activities it was a hope that students will get the benefits and
the objectives are achieved. Besides, teachers could create more creativity in teaching
and learning process in order to prepare students to be more creative, innovative,
critical and independent with their ability for their future.
2.0 GOALS

 The program aims to encourage the use of English among students either written
or verbal. Subsequently, it is hoped that through this program pupils will be more
fluent in English and will help them to improve their English in their achievement
and prepare them for a more challenging future in line with the era of
globalization

 Spread and nurture students' interest in English towards improving school

education excellence among students

3.0 OBJECTIVES

By end of this programme, pupils would able to:-

a) Enhance Year 5 students’ HOTS in the level of analyzing, evaluating and creating using
visual literacy tool, ToonDoo.
b) Familiarize Year 5 students in operating the visual literacy tool,ToonDoo, independently.

The proposal paper shows a clear picture of the programme that had been designed.
The programme is expected to assist the pupils as well as the English Language teachers to
gain experience and knowledge in terms of activity plans and skills by carrying out these
activities. In addition, it strengthens ties with each other through these activities as well. This
programme will be conducted to meet the needs of student performance evaluation in the
syllabus. In fact, this program can build a balanced, physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual
balanced trainer to achieve the goal of National Education Philosophy. May the higher
committee members be able to make appropriate judgments and approve this project paper.
