 INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION
The following instructions are a reference for downloading and installing the Ro-Flo Performance software. This software is only for use by
authorized Ro-Flo Compressors customers and equipment end users.

REQUIREMENTS
The Ro-Flo Performance software is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems. The Ro-Flo Performance software requires
various Microsoft software components including Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.

The Ro-Flo Performance software software needs approximately 500 MB of hard disk space to install on your computer.

WEBSITE REGISTRATION
The Ro-Flo Performance software can be downloaded from the Ro-Flo website.

To download the software it is necessary to create an account on the Ro-Flo website.

1. Go to the Ro-Flo Compressorswebsite at: www.roflocompressors.com

2. Click on Software

3. Select Create an account

4. Fill out the registration form

5. Click Register
6. You will receive an email stating that your account has been created successfully and is awaiting authorization from Ro-Flo Compressors. If
you do not receive an email please try completing the registration process again.

7. After your account is approved, you will receive a second email stating that your account has been authorized for access to the Download area
of the Ro-Flo website. It may take up to 1 business day to receive your authorization.

DOWNLOADING FILES
After you have registered on the Ro-Flo website and received an email stating that your access has been approved please follow the steps below.
If you have not registered please follow the steps in "Website Registration" on page 4.

STEPS FOR DOWNLOADING FILES

1. Go to the Ro-Flo website at: www.roflocompressors.com
2. Click on the Software link

3. Enter the Username and Password created during the registration process, and click Login

5. Download the files for your region. If any warnings appear, select Save to your computer.

6. It is recommended that downloaded files be saved to C:\Temp

Computer administrator privileges are required to install the Ro-Flo Performance software on your computer. If you do not have necessary
privileges please contact your company's IT support staff.

WINDOWS 7 - PREREQUISITE
To install the Ro-Flo Performance software you will need Microsoft .NET 3.5. This download can be obtained from http://www.microsoft.com/en-
us/download/details.aspx?id=21

Follow the instructions for installation of this Microsoft product. A computer restart will be required.

After restarting your computer, use Windows Update to make sure all necessary updates are applied to your computer. To run Windows update
please follow the instructions on Microsoft's website: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-windows-updates

WINDOWS 7 SETUP
To install the Ro-Flo Performance software on a Windows 7 operating system:

1. Go to where you saved the roflo.installer.exe file on your computer (recommended to be C:\Temp).
2. Right click the roflo.installer.exe and choose "Run as administrator"

3. If a User Account Control window appears, click 'Yes' to allow the software to make changes to your computer.

4. For new installations allow the software to install the Database and Software, by clicking 'Next'

5. Allow the software to install a new database instance, by clicking 'Next'

6. Click 'Install' to start the installation process

7. Various screens will open and close as the installation process progresses

8. After the installation process has completed successfully you will see the following window, click 'OK'

9. A new window will open (possibly behind other open windows) for installation of Microsoft Visual C++ for 2005. Click 'Yes'

10. A window will open to install the Ro-Flo Performance software, click 'Next'

11. Accept the default installation location by clicking 'Next'

12. Click 'Next' to confirm the installation

13. Click 'Close' after the Ro-Flo Performance software installation completes successfully.

14. You will see the following window after the software installation completes. Click 'OK'.

15. You now can open the Ro-Flo Performance software by using the icon on your desktop or the 'Start' menu item.

WINDOWS 8 - PREREQUISITE
To install the Ro-Flo Performance software on a computer using Windows 8, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 must be enabled.

To enable the .NET Framework 3.5 in Window 8, follow these steps:

1. On the Start Screen type "turn on windows features", click Settings, and then click Turn Windows features on or off

2. Under Turn Windows features on or off, check to make sure .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) is enabled.

3. Click Download files from Windows Update.

4. Click Finish.

UPDATING THE RO-FLO PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE

To update the Ro-Flo Performance software, download the latest rofloupdate.exe file from the Ro-Flo website as outlined in "Downloading Files".

To update the Ro-Flo Performance software please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Navigate to where you have saved the rofloupdate.exe (recommended to be C:\Temp)

2. Right click rofloupdate.exe and choose 'Run as administrator'

3. If a User Account Control window opens click 'Yes'

4. Click 'Update' on the Ro-Flo Performance update window

5. After the update has completed you will see the following window.

6. To verify the installation had completed successfully you can open the Ro-Flo Performance software and click 'Help' --> 'About'
