Task 2 – Introduce the new vocabulary (20 mins)
 Collect in the flashcards and use to elicit the globalization vocabulary.
(multi-cultural society, English as a global language, fast food, popular films,
popular songs, changes in national identity, global market)
 Elicit written form and list on the whiteboard.
 Ask learners to read aloud and check pronunciation. Highlight the '-sh/-or' word
endings as examples of the schwa sound. (7 examples).

Task 3 – Word Search (15 mins)


 Each student is given a copy of the worksheet. Working alone, the students
search for hidden words. The students write the answers on the whiteboard.
Task 4 – Reading comprehension (10 mins)
 Students read a text about Coca-Cola company.
Task 5 – Match the word to the picture (15 mins)
 Students works on a given worksheet, where they have to match up pictures
with a vocabulary jobs, split the jobs between inside and outside jobs.

Task 1 – What’s the wheater like today? (15 mins)
 Teacher and Students brainstorm different types of weather. Draw a
cloud on the board and around it writes weather vocabulary.
 Ask students some general questions about the weather and if you can
get any pictures of extreme weather conditions (hurricanes, floods,
tornados etc.,) this will help to introduce the vocabulary.

Task 2 - Introduce the new vocabulary (20 mins)


 Collect in the flashcards and use to elicit the global warming vocabulary.
(Atmosphere, Fossil fuels, Greenhouse effect, Global warming and
Radiation, cloudy, rainy, hurricane, flood, tornados).

Task 3 – Introducing the topic(6mins)


 Students watch a video about the global warming

Task 4 – Word Match (10 mins)


 Match a word from the left-hand column with a word from the right-hand
column.
Task 5 – How much can you remember? (15 mins)
 Students have to answer 10 questions about the information already seen
this class about global warming
Task 6 - Wrap-up (5mins)
 Students make a summarize of the class.
