Topic Statement (full sentence about the topic and why you chose it): I chose this topic because I love helping
children and I know for a fact that in the future I want to help children has a career when I first heard about
make a wish foundation I knew that it was about kids with cancer and helping them get their wish come true
but it's this whole community of ten of thousand of people who volunteer, donate, and support children with
critical illness.

1. What is your prior knowledge about this topic?
I know that the foundation not only help raise money but also travel with the kids and also take donation
from donors

2. What problem(s) could you attempt to solve/address in connection with this topic?
I know I can’t find the cure for cancer but I can learn from experience. I can learn what the foundation do for
these kids, I can meet and connect with kids

3. How can you attempt to solve one of these problems at Poly or in the local community (not globally)?
What type of product do you anticipate completing (see ideas for final product).
I can attempt to help the program with new fundraiser ideas, help them get sponsors, and ask around the
community for donation.

4. Explain how you might spend a minimum of 10 hours outside of the school day in the community
working toward this solution.
I will at least do 2 hours every week to help out as much as possible and that includes weekends.

5. Explain how you might provide evidence of your work throughout the experience.
I would take pictures, videos, and maybe interview people.

6. Explain any obstacles you might encounter in your attempt to address this problem.
Some obstacles I can encounter is I need to learn how to time manage my time, learning how to speak to other
adults. I’m a very shy person so I need to work on that.
