dated August 5, 2002 (Revised guidelines on the
organization & strengthening of the Local Council for the
Protection of Children (LCPC); DILG MC No 2008-126 (
Revised Guidelines in Monitoring the functionality of the
Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) at all
levels and for other purposes.

What is BCPC? Who shall spearhead the organization of BCPC?

Formulate resolutions or ordinances for the welfare of children
Monitoring for compliance to resolutions or ordinances
Quick Response Team/ Task Force regularly conducts surveillance
and monitor any illegal activities in the barangay that may affect the
safety and protection children
