CHAPTER I

A. INTRODUCTION

CLAYGO Policy- is a clean as you go policy is a cleaning strategy used to minimize

risks to hygiene, health, and safety.

Students nowadays eat meals inside the campus especially during breaks but most

students think that janitors will pick the litter that they left so the school of Notre Dame

thought of a policy that would help students to learn to manage their own trash and take

responsibilities on their own choices.

The researcher would like to know how effective this policy to the students and

how it affected their everyday lives. Knowing that most of the students still doesn’t follow

this policy mostly the grade 9 and 10 students. In Notre Dame there are a lot of trash bins

that can be seen around the campus some of them are even segregation bins but are they

used correctly. The researchers would like to share awareness to the continuous littering

of Notre Dame’s beloved students and to help save the environment and help the next

generation to appreciate the beauty and the majesty of our wonderful world

 Why do most Grade 10 students forget to follow this catchy policy?

 How does not cleaning your place affect our society?

 What perks can you get from following these policies

but it is the opposite. The student of Note Dame need to be independent so they

will become more successful and productive not dependent to the help of others
