INTRODUCTION
The project is based upon the concept of thermodynamics and heat transfer in
which the task is to raise the coin of 2Rs from ground level to a certain height.
The maximum the height the max point gained by the group . The maximum
members in the group should not exceed by 4 members . The task of project
base learning was given to the classes nearly 4th week of July . The pbl was
based on heat transfer subject which is introduced by Mumbai university in the
5th sem of engineering.
The importance of heat transfer helps you to understand how to determine the
process of heat which you are been exposed to there such as conduction
convection, radiation. Understand the process which you can use and analysis of
heat that you need to use for your product.
Some parts of thermodynamics which are used by mechanical engineers in the
fields of heat conversion. Mechanical engineers use thermo-science to design
engines and power plants, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
systems, heat exchanger, heat sinks, radiators, refrigeration, insulation and
others.

Different ideas :
The three main ideas which came in to our mind are as follows ;
1.Expansion of copper wire based ideas to lift the coin
2.Hot air balloon
3.Sterling engine
3.Stirling engine
A Stirling engine is a heat engine that operates by cyclic compression and
expansion of air or other gas at different temperatures, such that there is a net
conversion of heat energy to mechanical work.

conclusion
The Stirling engine is noted for its high efficiency compared to steam engines, quiet
operation, and the ease with which it can use almost any heat source. This engine is currently
exciting interest as the core component of micro combined heat and power (CHP) units, in
which it is more efficient and safer than a comparable steam engine
Result :
The coin was not being lifted because of insufficient amount of heat given by 2 candle
and also the limitation in selection of the wright method to lift the coin there was
restriction to use any motor , by which it could be possible to lift the coin using
seebeck and peltier effect. According to the pbl review motor was prohibited to use in
lifting of coin but one day before pbl submission this prohibition was removed and
peltier module was allowed to used so we made nochanges in the modal and submitted
the unsuccessful modal .
