Warnings and precautions

1.- Warnings and precautions

The washing machine must be connected to an earth. If this basic safety rule is
! not respected, the manufacturer shall under no circumstances accept liability for
injuries suffered by persons or for damage to objects.

To prevent fire and electrical sparking hazards, personal injury, or other damage
when using your washer, take the following precautions:
This washer is supplied with a manual which includes operating, maintenance, and
installation instructions. Read all the instructions before using the washer.
Do not wash articles which have previously been cleaned, washed, soaked, or treated
with gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, other inflammable or explosive substances, since
they produce vapours which may ignite or explode.
Do not add gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other inflammable or explosive
substances to the wash water since they produce vapours which may ignite or
explode.
Do not repair or replace any part of the washer, nor attempt any type of service unless
it has been recommended in the maintenance instructions in the manual.
Do not stand or sit on the machine, nor support yourself on the open loading door.
To reduce the risk of fire or electrical sparking, do NOT use an extension lead nor an
adapter to connect the washer to the mains electricity.
The machine must only be used for what it was designed for.
Follow the wash instructions recommended by the manufacturer of the item to be
washed.
Do not start the washer until you have made sure that:
• It has been installed according to the installation instructions.
• All the water, drainage, mains and earth connections comply with local
standards and other applicable standards.

Description of operation

Selecting additional functions

Button for selecting additional functions according to the programmes.
a) It has 3 options: easy iron, intensive wash, and
extra rinse. Press the select button to display the
required option.
b) By clicking several times, you can choose bet-
ween various combinations, of one, two, and even 3ELECT
three additional functions at the same time, depen-
ding on the chosen programme.
Button: Easy iron
This option reduces the formation of creases in
garments by performing a special programme with
special movements to fluff up the garments after the
3ELECT
spin and make ironing easier.
Button: Extra rinse
This increases the intensity of the final rinse applied to the clothing; this is recommen-
ded for large loads and garments belonging to users with sensitive skin. Increases
water consumption!
Button: Intensive Wash
This option, specially recommended for very dirty or stained garments, gives better
results by lengthening the wash cycle.

Time delay option

Time delay selection button A delay of up to 24
hours may be selected. The delay must be selected
after choosing the wash programme.
To select the time delay in hours, press the clock
button. Each press delays the start time by one 3ELECT
hour
Cancelling the delay To cancel the delay, press
the clock key successively. The delay will be cancelled by reaching 24 hours and then
pressing once more. Changing to another program also cancels the delay.

Description of operation

Spin selection
The wash options must always be selected after selecting the wash programme. Any
change of programme during the selection annuls the options which were previously
selected.
A

a) Spin and anti-crease control flot button

The selected programme has an associated spin
speed in revolutions per minute, as shown in the 3ELECT
screen.

b) This can be modified by pressing the spin button

successively, and the spin speed in revolutions will
go down by 100 each time, until 400. 3ELECT

C
c) Skip spin option
Press the spin button once more, to reach the skip
spin option. A programme without a final spin is
used to prevent creases from forming when washing
3ELECT
special fabrics.

d) Option: Anti-crease/flot D

This stops at the final rinse, leaving the clothing

floating in water. When the function is de-activated,
the washer continues the programme, draining and
spinning. This is used, for example, when one is not 3ELECT

at home, to delay the spin until one has arrived, to

prevent creases being caused by the spin and the
wait in the drum.

Description of operation

Lock Selection
Activate lock
a) Locking is activated by keeping the start/pause a
key pressed for at least 3 seconds.
The screen will show that it has been activated.

De-activate lock
b) The lock is de-activated when the wash progra-
mme ends. b

To unlock before the end of the programme, keep

the start key pressed, again, for at least 3 seconds.
After the 3 seconds, the lock indicator in the screen
will disappear, and the machine will be paused.

The ON/OFF button does not de-activate the lock.

Programme Ending
When the program ends, the screen will display 0.

Select

When the door is opened or the lock is de-activated,

the screen will display 000.

BMF BUS FAULT During the communication with the machine it is detected that there is a BMF fault, and In version V1 nothing happens See BMF document
(F12) to detect it, the following must happen: In versions V3 and V4 the machines stop
- Display board: If the board does not receive a correct message (can be checked in the (Program end) - Display Board: the fault and the related 10sec timer have to be reset when a
BMF variable “SinTraficoEnBus==1”) correct data frame (identifica¬tion or status frame) is received by the Display

status messages. (Can be checked in the BMF by its meaning “TramaDatosATratar==0”) -Power Board: If the Power Board receives a correct message (Link_Response
for more than10s, the F12 fault will be displayed. or Data) from the Display Board, the F12 and the related 10sec timer have to
be reset.
-Power board: If the power board is continuously sending LINK messages to the display
board, for more than 10s (the master may know and check the BMF “EtadoLinkNodos”
variable), it then displays the F12 fault and that should be activated in the mas¬ter. If
the power board receives a correct message (Link_Response or Data) from the display
board, then the F12 fault is reset

WARNING CHECK ACTION RESET

IMBALANCE If an imbalance is detected when it makes 1attempt to spin, or during 15 minu¬tes of The machine spins at the lowest spin speed The fault is reset in the following manner:
(C03) attempts 1.- Cutting off the power (unplugging or pressing ON/OFF switch)
2.- Change of position of the programme selector

Description of operation

The speeds allowed for the V3 circuits depend on the hardware reference (with/without
double field) and the washer capacity (kg), and are as follows:

RPM DOUBLE FIELD MOTOR

5 kg 700 800 900 1000 1100 --- --- --- --- ---
6 kg 700 800 900 1000 1100 1200 1300 1400 --- ---

Once the circuit has been configured, it is validated by pressing the START button for
3 seconds, which is when the selected code appears for 3 seconds, without flashing;
and then disappears.

The speeds allowed for the V4 circuits depend on the hardware reference (with/without
double field and FC) and the washer capacity (kg), and are as follows:´

MOTOR 1250 DOUBLE FIELD MOTOR

6 kg 700 800 900 1000 1100 1200 1300 1400 --- ---

FC (MOTOR CONVERTER)

3.1.5.- Description of operation of programme no. 2

Programme no. 2 is a short (quick) programme which takes 30’ and heats to 30ºC.
It is the most suitable programme for the technician making any operational checks.

Description of operation

3.1.5.- Spin attempts

If the washer detects unbalanced clothes in the spin phase, it carries out the following
process:
The total number of attempts to start spinning is 20, divided according to this
criterion.
In the first 6 attempts, the maximum unbalanced limit allowed is 550 grams.
From the 7th to the 18th, the maximum unbalanced limit allowed is 800 grams, and
the final spin speed is less than the nominal speed; for example, a washer with a
nominal speed of 1,200 r.p.m. will spin at 1,000 r.p.m.
For the 19th and 20th attempts, the maximum unbalanced limit allowed is 1,500
gra¬ms, and the final spin speed will be 650 r.p.m., except in washers with a nominal
speed of 700 r.p.m., which will spin at 400 r.p.m.
This number of attempts to re-position the clothes in the drum will increase the total
programme time by 20 minutes.
At the end the LCD screen will display C03; this is not considered a fault, it is to inform
the user, warning him about the safety measure the circuit has detected.
If no imbalance is detected in the rinse phase, the number of attempts will not be
greater than 3.
