A. Accessiblity

E-books offer access to the materials virtually in any location, providing effortless
access through electronic gadgets. E-books becamse more accessible over printed
books becuase now people have the option to download the said electronic books either
on their home, their businesses, or whatever they are to gather various information on
needed. Access meaning you can access an E-book anytime where you eventually
need it.

A person does not have to go to the library to borrow an E-book to pick them up
becuase E-book can be downloaded from home, on to mobile devices, and to other
technological device thus, providing the ease ofaccess than the traditional printed
books. As we all know, the library is organized collection of sources of information and
people get through differing efforts just to visit this place. E-books on the other side
provides effortless access for information on par with the library without the effort to
actually visiting the place as E-books can be accessed through technological devices at
hand. This proves the convenience of using e-books over the printed books.

E-books provide effortless access to information without acquiring printed resources

personally. People can gather information without having the need to exert effort or
acquiring tradtional printed books itself. It can either be accessed from your personal
desktop, mobile phones, or your tablets and iPads. Thus, acquiring facts and
information are not limited to books only. E-books can provide you those things without
hassle and problems.

One particular capability of E-books is that it can be read by multiple readers at the
same time. Unlike traditional printed books, its amount is not limited. If there is only one
book for example, only one person can use it at the same time. Dissimilar to printed
books, E-books can be accessed, downloaded, and read by numerous readers at the
same time with use of their personal mobile phones or computers.

Due to large use of technology, access of e-books is easier to where in people interact
easier in a varierty of ways either at home or at any other place. Technology of ours
today makes E-books more accessible than printed books. Tecnologies like mobile
devices, computers, laptops, tablets etc. Is capable of downloading E-books anytime.

8
Unlike printed books, E-books are much easier to gain with the helpf of out technologies
today we don’t have to go to the library for us to access printed books.

B. Credibility

There are effective potentials that E-books can provide on learning. On researching it
can provide many various features like having a text with annotations so that it can
improve the student’s learning capacity.

E-books provide different features that can help meny students to understand a ceratin
topic, it provides features like having a hyperlink, audio or video files, and other certain
tools that can improve the understanding of a student to a certain topic that he/she is
reading.

E-books are powerful learning resources with review quizzes, recommended and
targeted review readings, interactive learning activities, or video segments that will
reinforce important instructural concepts. These enhanced resources, that are easier to
integrate and deliver in their E-books format and has the potential to acceleate student’s
learning.

E-books are very good idea to use in handbooks and other electronic devices and also
other certain researching websites.

E-books have much more potential, significance, and motivation in helping a student to
study rather than to use the usual reading material books.

9
C. Efficiency

E-textbooks offer a variety of potential advantages to secondary students, They can

include features that can help students learn, such as embedded audio/video files or
communication tools that facilitate interaction between faculty and students.

E-textbooks are also easier to update or revise than traditional printed text allowing
publishers to update or correct error in work.

Students preferred amenities associated with E-book reading such as pop-up definitions
and pronunciations of words, automatic page turning, and the option or read-aloud
narration which in return are helpful to them.

The power and convenience associated with search within the E-book enviroment is
highly valued, reflected by an overwhelming 95% of respondents who identify
themselves as having used E-books rating ability to search within the full text of items to
be very or somewhat important.

Whether in a computer lab or through use of a personal hand-held device, students are
able to read a wide variety of materials specifically suited to an instructional unit.

10
CONCLUSIONS

The accessibility of e-book is beneficial on students. Mountainous parts or provincial

places are areas that can be benefited by the e-books,it will be a great benefit to them
in which they will have access to e-books or other reading materials they wanted to
have specially those students who travel many distances just to arrive at school and
learn. Having the capability to access is a great opportunity for students to ease their
way of studying and searching for what they want to learn specially if it is out of their
school’s reach (printed books).

Moreover, the credibility of the files is handy on the authors part.He/she can update the
texts when needed and can also change or be revised with ease; and can be instantly
published and distributed worldwide via internet .The quality given by this electronic
device is far greater than the ordinary books that are available. People will rely more on
this electronic device for it is the fastest way to get your wanted books, of course via e-
books. It also has a big impact for our environment, if we often use e-books than the
standard printed books it can help to lessen of cutting trees down just to provide the
printed books that are needed just to republish, revise and to mass reproduce.

Lastly, this becomes efficient to the user. There are many types of features that will and
can provide aid of much needed understanding and knowledge about what type of e-
book that they are reading. It can hold more than one electronic text andprovides
existing potential for readers to contain the entire libraries. It can be furthermore
expanded, customized, updated as its user’s desire.

RECOMMENDATIONS

1. E-books must be part of education style.

Students should be given the opportunity to use this mode in education. This has
been proven beneficial on their part for this is easily accessed. Moreover, bringing all
the heavy textbooks to school also becomes a burden to the learner.

2. Big university across the world uses e-books in their libraries and even in
home portals.

This new feature of educational development is recognized across the archipelago thus
must also be exercised by other educational institutions. Accessibility is proven handy
on students end. They can easily access their lessons even at home and anywhere
else so long as they have the files for this.

3. E-books lessen the students travel time.

Some of the areas have to deal with the long distance just to go to libraries to access
the files they need. With one of feature of the book, they will no longer have to travel
miles just to look for their needed work rather they can access it easily and anywhere.

4. This kind of education development is in line with the 21 st century features.

This century is a time of technology. Technology has been used across the world.
Almost all the walks of life use technology even in trades, education, law, offices,
businesses and etc. Seemingly, education in the near future will also be in full blown
so as early as now, it must be practiced.

5. E-books features are more convenient than the use of traditional books.

Three of its features are convenient both on the user and the author. The author can
easily change mistyped text on his/her literary and the users can also comment and
even suggest to make the features even more handy on their part. This transition is
far better than the use of the traditional way though libraries will still serve as
supplementary resources.

Currently only few countries has a government that offers the said program.
Implementing these programs would enable the poverty-stricken individuals to join
the program and to enhance their ability to speak English language.
