Casa de Churro is a food business owned by Mr. Wan Miguel Cruz Suarez
together with his service employees EllyckaRowenTubig and Rialyn Gonzales. It is a
sole proprietorship that sells the best Churros in different flavors served with either
caramel or chocolate dip dedicated for all people with sweet tooth. Everything is
handcrafted carefully and thoroughly assuring the cleanliness of the product to avoid any
contaminations. The owners wants to make Casa de Churro business into a great
invention that will help in reaching its ultimate objective in the process of continuous
improvement of the product wherein it offers a sweet and melt-in-the-mouth snack with a
reasonable price and wherein the owner claims to bring smile and satisfaction in every
bite. The Churros are consumable anytime of the day year-round. Casa de Churro is
available to everyone who enjoys it. In the food industry, it foresees that it will be a great
contribution and impact in the world of pastries.

Mission Statement
Casa de Churro’s mission is “to bring customers delight with every taste and
bite”. Casa de Churro is dedicated to providing top of the line products and quality
service. It is our goal to prosper as a business and grow as entrepreneurs. By doing so, we
share our success in the market as well as provide a profitable return to our team
members and business partners.

The target market of Casa de Churro would be anyone who resides near the
Walter Mart Capas (the location of our branch). According tothe survey, people of any
age would love to patronize their product since it’s a tasty snack for people with sweet
tooth.

The “Casa de Churro” is a growth industry who aims to expand its business in
the coming years. Because it is a long-term type of business the entrepreneur looks
forward to have franchise and other business partners to achieve its goal to expand. The
“Casa de Churro” is also expected to up high its standard to continuously satisfy its
customers and to maintain the quality of their product
Casa de Churro is the first churro parlor in town, not just in Capas but also into
the whole province of Tarlac. Casa de Churro serves unique varieties of churros, namely:
banana churros and carrot churros. It is also looking forward to have products which are
healthier than fried churros like baked churros.
Moreover, it is very affordable and is a high quality product than the other churros
parlors outside Tarlac parameter. Lastly, its packaging and product presentation is very
‘instagramable’ and very appealing to the millennial.
The business is considered as a sole proprietor because there is only one person
that is ruling and handling the business. This is the simplest and most common form used

when starting a new business. It is also easy to start a business when it is handled by one
person wherein it is controlled and liable to the owner itself.

Product Description
Churros are tasty deep fried, ridged sticks of dough, sugar or cinnamon-sprinkled, it also
consist different variety of flavors such as oreo, banana and carrots that will be served
with warm chocolate or caramel sauce for dipping. Also, our churros will be served into
four pieces per serving. The product itself is made out of dough that molds properly in
order to present the main body of churros which consists by 5 inches in size in a vertical
shape.

Customers are the foundation and blood of every business. It makes the business
function and grow. That is why economic is very important in business.

Casa de Churro” costs 1,000,000 (per capital); this is based on how many
materials are sold and how many dairy has been used for the churro. Casa de churro
wants to increase the revenue as fast as possible, that means we need to make enough
to cover up the variables costs each month.
Quality Control
The quality control is the activity of checking goods as they are produced to
make sure that the final products are good. The Casa de Churro strictly observe
cleanliness, it follows proper hygiene and sanitation to avoid the spoliation of their
products. It practices FIFO (First In, First Out). The Casa de Churro’s raw materials
will be supplied by Anne N’ Archie store, a well-known store that provides high
quality of materials and ingredients. The business ensures the good quality and

The cashier is the one who receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, voucher,
or automatic debits, issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers and count
money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amount are correct and
that there is adequate change. She also maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and

establishes or identifies prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using
calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
The cook is the one who cooks and decorates the food for the customers. She
should also determine production schedules and staffs requirements necessary to ensure
timely delivery of services. Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food
and ingredients, inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to
established standards, Monitor sanitation practices.
Casa de Churro’s hiring system involves social media platforms in order to inform
our potential applicants. An interview will be conducted by the owner together with basic
assessment.
The company will assure that the selected employees undergone a carefully
evaluated deliberation, in order to prevent unpleasant treatment on our beloved
customers.
The company will provide trainings and orientation for the upcoming employees
to ensure that they are able to follow the standard food preparation and proper
sanitation. The requirements for the employment are; Resume, PSA Birth Certificate,
Barangay Clearance, Police Clearance, to ensure the legitimacy of the applicant and the

96 pesos per tray of eggs, 50 pesos per piece of butter (large in size), 32 pesos for every
bottle of vanilla extract, 48 perkilo of white sugar, 50 pesos per liter of vegetable oil, 60
pesos for every 1 kilo of cocoa powder, 37 pesos of every 390 grams of condensed milk,
50 per kilo of banana peeling, 40 per kilo of carrots and 65 per pack of oreo (10 pieces).
In which they are the one who supplies our raw materials which we get bigger amount of
discounts.

Credit Policies
The owner does not plan to sell using credits for it is not a merchandising business like
sari-sari store where the owner can offer credits to anyone they know. Casa de Churro is
a manufacturing business whereas the customers buy the products then pay right away. If
the business will accept credits, it will only lead to failure due to shortage of money for
some people might not be able to pay their debts.

VIII. PERSONAL FINANCIAL STATEMENT
Since I was a kid, I wanted to buy everything I want but as I grew up realizing
that money is not easily penetrated, I taught myself to save enough for future purposes.
I outgrew my love for churros and started to create this business where I allotted
200,000 pesos as my capital investment.
