The Central Florida Intergroup invites you to attend our fourth annual weekend retreat at Deerhaven Retreat and
Conference Center in Paisley, FL, from March 31 through April 2nd. Deerhaven is a spacious, rustic retreat center in the
Ocala National Forest. It is quiet, serene, peaceful, and beautiful. There are hiking trails, outdoor recreation facilities,
and many other wonderful facilities. The retreat will include workshops, speakers, meetings, and plenty of time for fun
and fellowship. All members along with significant others are welcome to attend.

On site check in begins at 4:00 pm on Friday, March 31. The first scheduled activity is dinner on Friday evening,
which will be served at 7:00 pm. The opening session for the retreat is 8:00 pm on Friday. The retreat will end
after lunch on Sunday (Sunday lunch included).
There will be an open mic night on Saturday night; please feel free to bring musical instruments, poetry, or any
other talent that you may wish to share.
Please note that we will be responsible for cleaning the property before we leave on Sunday, that individuals will
clean their own rooms and bathrooms (supplies will be provided), and that we will all help clean the shared
spaces such as meeting rooms.

On Friday Morning we will be having a Pre-Retreat Meditation Workshop onsite starting at 10a. In this workshop
we will more deeply look at meditation as an 11th step practice. Sitting, walking, and heart meditation will be
explored and practiced. We will learn to deepen our concentration, tranquility, and insight. Lunch will be
provided as well. The cost to attend this optional workshop will be an additional $38 per person that can be
included on this registration form.

To register for a dayrate for the retreat for Saturday only, please complete this registration form, tear it off (keep the top

From Orlando, take I-4 East, about 30 miles north of Winter Park, to Deland, exit 118, FL 44/New York Ave. Go west on
FL 44 about 11 miles, then turn right on County Road (CR) 42. Follow CR 42 west about 5 miles to Deerhaven Road.
Turn right on Deerhaven Road and go north about 2.5 miles following the signs to the Deerhaven Retreat and
Conference Center. (Note: Part way down Deerhaven Rd, there’s a sign for “Deerhaven,” telling you to turn left onto a
new street. Don’t turn there; that’s for a subdivision, not the retreat center. Simply stay on Deerhaven Rd (it becomes a
dirt road part way down) until you have gone about 2.5 miles from CR 42 and see the retreat center on your left.)
