Themed Asia-Pacific towards Rio+20, the World Leadership Conference 2011 is a platform for environmental leaders all over Asia-Pacific to take a stand for the future of their planet Earth. It was first organized in 2009 as part of ECO Singapores initiative to promote a green economy. Endorsed by the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), ECO aims higher this year by organising the World Leadership Conference 2011 in preparation for the Rio + 20 Summit in 2012.

With a clear intention of empowering youths with knowledge, ideas and experience at the conference, The World Leadership Conference 2011 will give youths the confidence to voice their opinions to governments through the regional consolidated document to be submitted to the Rio+20 Summit Agenda, and when they return to their local communities to implement their own green initiatives.
