HASBUNALLĀH DHIKR
1. Recite Once:
‫ﺟﻴْ ِﻢ‬
ِ ‫ن اﻟ ﱠﺮ‬
ِ ‫ﺸﻴْﻄَﺎ‬
‫ﻦ اﻟ ﱠ‬
َ ‫ﷲ ِﻣ‬
ِ ‫ﻋﻮْ ُذ ﺑِﺎ‬
ُ ‫َأ‬
A-`ŪDHU BILLĀHI MINASH SHAYTĀ-NIR RAJĪM

I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the rejected one.

2. Recite Once:
‫ﺣﻴْ ِﻢ‬
ِ ‫ﻦ اﻟ ﱠﺮ‬
ِ ‫ﷲ اﻟ ﱠﺮﺣْﻤ‬
ِ ‫ِﺑﺴْ ِﻢ ا‬
BIS-MIL-LĀHIR RAHMĀ-NIR RAHĪM

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

3. Recite Once :
ْ‫ﺟ َﻤ ُﻌﻮْا َﻟ ُﻜﻢ‬
َ ْ‫س َﻗﺪ‬ َ ‫ن اﻟﻨﱠﺎ‬ ‫س ِإ ﱠ‬ ُ ‫ﻦ ﻗَﺎ َل َﻟ ُﻬ ُﻢ اﻟﻨﱠﺎ‬ َ ْ‫َاﱠﻟ ِﺬﻳ‬
ْ‫ﺸﻮْ ُهﻢ‬
َ ْ‫ﻓَﺎﺧ‬
‫ﷲ َو ِﻧﻌْ َﻢ اﻟْ َﻮ ِآﻴْﻞ‬
َُ ‫ﺣﺴْ ُﺒﻨَﺎ ا‬
َ ‫َﻓﺰَا َد ُهﻢْ ِإﻳْﻤَﺎﻧًﺎ ﱠوﻗَﺎُﻟﻮْا‬
AL- LA-DHĪNA QĀLA LAHUMMUN NĀSU INNAN- NĀSA QAD
JAMA`Ū LAKUM FAKH-SHAW-HUM
FAZĀDAHUM IMĀNAN(W) WA QĀLŪ
HASBUNALLĀHU WA NI`MAL WAKĪL

People said to them (i.e. the Believers):

“A great army is gathering against you, so fear them”:
But it (only) increased their faith, and they responded:
“Allah is sufficient for us. And He is the best Disposer of affairs.”

[Surah Āli-`Imrān, 3:173]

4. Recite Four Hundred and Fifty Times :

‫ﷲ َو ِﻧﻌْ َﻢ اﻟْ َﻮ ِآﻴْﻞ‬
َُ ‫ﺣﺴْ ُﺒﻨَﺎ ا‬
َ
HASBUNALLĀHU WA NI`MAL WAKĪL

“Allah is sufficient for us. And He is the best Disposer of affairs.”

[Surah Āli-`Imrān, 3:173]

5. Recite Once:
ٌ‫ﺳﻮْء‬
ُ ْ‫ﺴﺴْ ُﻬﻢ‬
َ ْ‫ﷲ َو َﻓﻀْ ٍﻞ ﱠﻟﻢْ َﻳﻤ‬
ِ ‫ﻦ ا‬َ ‫ﻓَﺎﻧْ َﻘ َﻠ ُﺒﻮْا ِﺑ ِﻨﻌْ َﻤ ٍﺔ ِﻣ‬
‫وَا ﱠﺗ َﺒ ُﻌﻮْا‬
‫ﻈﻴْ ِﻢ‬
ِ‫ﻋ‬
َ ‫ﷲ ُذوْ َﻓﻀْ ٍﻞ‬ُ ‫ﷲ وَا‬ ِ ‫ن ا‬ َ ‫ِرﺿْﻮَا‬
FANQALABŪ BI-NI`MATIM MINALLĀHI WA FADLIL LAM
YAM-SAS-HUM SŪ-UN(W) WAT-TABA`Ū RIDWĀNALLĀH
WALLĀHU DHŪ FADLIN `AZĪM

And they returned with Grace and Bounty from Allah; no harm ever
touched them. For they followed the good pleasure of Allah. And Allah
is the Lord of limitless bounties.

[Surah Āli-`Imrān, 3:174]

6. Recite Three Times:

‫ﺟ َﺮتْ ِﺑ ِﻪ اﻟْ َﻤﻘَﺎ ِدﻳْ ِﺮ‬
َ ‫ﻄﻒْ ِﺑﻨَﺎ ِﻓﻴْﻤَﺎ‬
ُ ْ‫ُاﻟ‬ ‫ﻒ‬
ُ ْ‫ﻄﻴ‬
ِ ‫ﻳَﺎ َﻟ‬ ‫اَﻟﻠّ ُﻬﻢﱠ‬
ALLĀHUMMA, YA LATĪF, ULTUF BINĀ FĪMĀ JARAT
BIHIL MAQĀDĪR

O Allah! O Most Gentle and Kind! Treat us gently in unfolding in our

lives that which your inevitable Decree contains.

7. Recite Once:
‫ﺻﺤْ ِﺒ ِﻪ َو‬
َ ‫ﻋﻠَﻰ ﺁ ِﻟ ِﻪ َو‬
َ ‫ﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َو‬
َ ‫ﺳ ﱢﻴ ِﺪﻧَﺎ ُﻣ‬
َ ‫ﻋﻠَﻰ‬
َ ‫ﷲ‬
ُ ‫وَﺻ ﱠﻞ ا‬
. ْ‫ﺳﱠﻠﻢ‬
َ
WA SAL-LALLĀHU `ALĀ SAYYIDINĀ MUHAMMADIN WA `ALĀ
ĀLIHI WA SAHBIHĪ WA SALLAM

O Allah! Bless our Master Muhammad, and his family and his
companions, and give them peace.

8. Make Du`ā’ for yourself, your parents, your Sheikh, your fellow
Brethren on this Path, and all Muslims.
