Community Awareness

Abstract:

The Community Awareness Program empowers citizens to help play a role in

enhancing our community’s safety. The CAP is an interactive course taught by
members of the public safety community. It provides citizens with the basic
tools needed to recognize and help prevent awareness activity and terrorism in
the India while preserving civil liberties protected by the India Constitution.
Community awareness, crime prevention and community safety initiatives
cannot be packaged as one-time solutions that can be applied in every
community for every problem. Instead, crime prevention should be viewed as a
process of community building that can address a range of issues that confront
and challenge your community. From the corporate sector right down to the
local neighbourhood, community leaders have the ability to empower their
communities to play an active role in crime reductions. By becoming active
participants in identifying the types of crime in their neighbourhood, key
stakeholders can develop long range strategies to reduce crimes in their
neighbourhoods.

Strong community awareness lessens the isolation of individuals, helps

develop respect for the property of others, enhances community spirit and
provides citizens with a sense of belonging. Crime prevention strategies are
most effective when community members come together around a common
cause and coordinate their efforts at all levels to solve the issues in their
community.
Existing Systems:

Existing community awareness programs directly go for conducting at various

community places. This type of community awareness developing programs
only one times acting at the problem occurred community places. Some of
people’s may not seen that the awareness program while due to some working
allotments.

This way of conducting community development programs creating awareness

at the particular place only. But, there is no popularity in district or state level.

Drawbacks:

1. Manually acting or conducting community awareness program low level

reaching at various community places.
2. Cost of conducting programs is very high.
3. There is no graphical and visual effect.

Proposed System:

The proposed system is responsible for reducing the drawbacks and the cost in
the existing system. The proposed system reduces the drawbacks for existing
systems. For complaint registration from various places thro online and
receiving status of the in dual specified complaints updated.

Solution for creating community awareness while refer the flow chart what are
all awareness program need for the particular place easy way understand thro
graph, playing some community awareness programs telecasting thro media,
press and news channel
Advantages:

1. Lowest cost expenses’ but high level popularity.

2. Keep on remember lot of times on daily basis.

Scope:

 Public awareness informing, sensitizing, drawing attention to, - e.g.

through seminars, awareness materials (posters, flyers)
 Public education imparting knowledge, know how e.g. though
workshops, educational materials More interactive two way
communication, structured, clearly defined learning objectives
 Activities designed to reach-out, build relationships, inspire the public to
support biosafety work
 Communication process of delivering messages or other information
through various media
 Extension: Sustained interaction with specific audiences to transfer
technical knowledge or skills

Implementation module:

We are implementing three modules for this project.

1. User Module
2. Community Developer Module
3. Admin Module

1. User Module

There is need for every new user to register before they can access the system, a
user must have a username and password which they will use to login before
they can registered your complaints. Any user does not register will not be
allowed to feed your compliant details Menu because to login to the services
Menu requires a username and a password.

The user activity Menu which is the list of link the following services actively.

 Child Labour
 Child Marriage
 Pollution control
 Practice of untouchability
 Round spiral protection

Any user registered after failing the complaints. The cosigner Complaints
status received or pending is well known status updated.

2. Community Developer Module:

Community Developer default login setup after login select the

complaints category receiving all the districts same category of
complaints showing in table format the same way to identifying reaming
all types of complaints receiving the same format finally to analyze thro
flow chart which district to conducting in awareness to program in easiest
way to identifying for this module.

2. Admin Module:

We can select district wise report for all the category of complaints and
then complaints status it’s like complaints accepted or pending all the
details view in admin module.

Conclusion:

The present study aimed to assess the effectiveness of community awareness

programmed on knowledge and attitude regarding the ill effects of Child Labor,
child marriage, pollution, Untachability and Drugs among the users in selected
district. Hence the investigator concluded that there was a significant
improvement in knowledge and attitude of Child Labor, child marriage,
pollution, unchability and Drugs users after the administration of community
awareness program. Thus the community awareness program proved that it was
an effective educational tool to improve the knowledge and attitude of above
users regarding the ill effects of the in the community.
