RE: HANDLING OF THE CASE OF MR _________ PERTAINING

TO CHILD CUSTODY OF _______

Dear Mr. __________________:

Greetings!

In connection with your decision to engage our legal services for the
handling of the above entitled case, hereunder are the rates of our legal
services, viz.:

A. ACCEPTANCE FEE – Fifty Thousand Pesos (PHP50,000.00),

which payment may be made by cash or manager/cashier’s check;

The fee includes:

1. Regular phone or email consultation to discuss the progress of

the case; and
2. All other matters related to the case and may arise thereto.

B. OPERATIONAL/INCIDENTAL EXPENSES You shall be

accountable for all out-of-pocket and miscellaneous expenses,
such as but not limited to filing fees, transcript of stenographic
notes, reproduction of documents, mailing and messengerial
services, notarial fees, cable and/or long-distance/overseas
calls, facsimile transmission, transportation and
accommodation for out-of-town trips, and other incidental
expenses as may be warranted in the above-mentioned case.

C. APPEARANCE FEE – Fees for every hearing in Court, tribunal or

quasi-judicial agency which the undersigned shall attend in
representation as counsel shall be charged at PHP5,000.00 per
appearance within Metro Manila and PHP7,000.00 per appearance
outside Metro Manila but limited to nearby provinces. Same
charge shall be applied to outside court meetings and
conferences relative to the case.

 D. PLEADING AND DOCUMENTATION FEE – Fees for papers,
documents, memorandum or any similar form which contains
respective claims, defenses or arguments shall be pegged at
PHP5,000.00 per pleading.

E. SUCCESS FEE – WE shall be charging a success fee of

PHP40,000.00 upon favorable judgment. Provided that, a
compromise and settlement shall be considered a favorable
judgment, hence, subject to success fee.

F. SPECIAL PROVISIONS - It is understood that this Contract is

applicable for the filing of the case in the appropriate court/office,
which may be Municipal Trial Court or Regional Trial Court. Should
a Case be elevated with the Regional Trial Court, Court of Appeals
and the Supreme Court, a separate arrangement will be agreed
upon.

All matters which may arise from this case but not covered by this
retainer contract shall be first agreed upon by the parties and after
their agreement shall be incorporated in this retainer contract and
shall be deemed a part hereof.

If this retainer contract shall be terminated before the end of the

case, it is understood that the fees indicated herein shall no longer
be recovered.

Should you find the foregoing terms acceptable, please signify your
conformity hereunder.
