Class profile:

There are usually seven students, however, the number fluctuates as attendance is not
mandatory and new students keep signing up throughout the year. All current students are
advanced learners of English. They are all aged between 20 and 40 and are of Greek origin. The
class is predominantly made up of women. The group seems to enjoy pair-work and group-work
activities.

By the end of the lesson students will have been provided with the opportunity to practice and
develop their writing skills within the context of writing a resume. Particular attention will be paid
to the stylistic concerns of the genre and the use of action verbs.
