II. CONTENT
Objectives must be meet over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if
needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are using Formative
Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the
lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
The learner demonstrates understanding of how pre-colonial Phil. Literature and other text types lead him/her to connect to his or her past, embrace
Filipino culture and identity through various reading styles, creative writing compositions, oral language fluency activities, viewing and listening texts and
observing correct subject-verb agreement in order to appreciate oneself.
The learner creatively tells a story using modern technology.

Content is what the lesson is all about. It pertains to the subject matter that the teacher aims to teach. In the CG, the content can be tackled in a week or two.

These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of
learning by the students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways
to learn new things, practice their learning, question their learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life
experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.
Give instructions in doing the item analysis. Listen to and follow instructions carefully -- make sure you understand.
 If you have a question, ask it.
 Answer questions completely and with detail.
 Check to sure you have not skipped anything and proofread your work.
 Do not let other distracts you -- it makes no difference who finishes first or last.
 If you finish early, go back and proof your work again. But don’t change anything unless you are sure. Studies show that the first answer you choose is
usually the right one.
Let the learners know the purpose of item analysis in every grading period.
The learners should be facilitated by the teacher on how item analysis is done with the help of the whole class.
Have the learners to come up with accurate data of the numbers of items they failed to answer correctly.

The learners will participate in the collaborative conversations in small groups to talk about the result of their periodical test and find out where they need
to focus and their weakness.
1. Inform the learners about the un mastered skills based on the table of specifications.
2. Ask them what they should do to improve their weakness.
3. Encourage them to accomplish the commitment contract which contains their individual target grade in the first quarter.

Explanation to this situation: When a large number of students miss an item, this indicates that the content or construct it is assessing probably needs to be
reviewed in class.
