Executive Summary

Our group is initially focusing on the development, production, and marketing of


finger food products, which is particularized in this research project. Other food product
development will be coped with the future corrections to this research product that will
provide added knowledge on how to market the Chaud Capsicum to consumers and be
patronized by future customers.

Our initial product serves as the foundation for developing a new line of finger
foods to be known throughout the entire food business. The product’s initial position is to
offer a unique twist on a specialty, with an original blend of ingredients..

Background of the Study

Chaud Capsicum is a French word meaning “hot chili”, This product is a finger food
or also known as an “appetizer”, it is easy to cook and very affordable. The combination
of hot chili and covered with a flour wrap to protect and it is a quality product. Added with
our special white sauce.

We can indeed have innovated this product by adding spices and garnishes in
order for consumers to enjoy every last bite of our product. We innovated the name of our
product in order for others to recognize and leave a mark on their taste buds.

The Dynamite or Dinamita is a deep-fried Filipino snack consisting of stuffed long


green chili peppers wrapped in a thin egg crêpe.

The stuffing is usually ground meat, cheese or a combination of both but it can
also be adopted to use a wide variety ingredient, including many delicious foods like
tocino, ham, bacon, and shredded chicken, etc. It is a type of lumpia and it is commonly
eaten as an appetizer or as a companion to beer.

Any of a genus of tropical mostly jointed climbing shrubs with aromatic leaves with
spicate flowers that is widely cultivated in the tropics for its red or green berries from which
black pepper and white pepper are prepared. The hallow fruit of a pepper that is usually
green and red.

And about the meat used in making the stuffing, you can either choose between
ground pork or ground beef whichever is affordable and practical for you. I think you can
also use canned corned tuna or ground chicken instead of red meat or just plain cheese
sticks if you want a quick and simple dynamite lumpia.

The Chaud Capsicum with White Sauce or Chaud Capsicum is mixed word of
French and scientific name, Chaud is a French word of hot while capsicum is scientific
name of a chili peppers variety.

We managed to innovate the “dynamite” with our own twist in the product. The
findings of this project will be able to determine what the consumers prefer when it comes
to fulfilling their cravings.

With the threats mentioned we can easily up our game by not only creating
two kinds of filling but thinking outside the box like adding chicken, beef,
vegetables, fruits, and many more adding a major twist with our product so that
our consumers cannot get easily tired and can try to put their own filling, they can
mix whatever they want to put in the chili hallow and have fun mixing new flavors.

Customer Segmentation

Our target market is teens, adults, and the aged so we can analyze and hear
feedbacks on what is missing and how can we improve the presentation, and taste and
for the aged we plan to lessen the spiciness of the product so that they can manage the
taste and enjoy every bite.

Sufficiently providing the needs of our customers and leaving a mark on the
marketing business as a competitor and improving further skills and knowledge.

F. Product Development

Making this is very easy First, empty out all of the seeds of the chili and the cheese
needs to be sliced into strips and also the meat or ham, also sliced into strips next is put
the sliced ingredients inside of the chili shell next, put the chili with the ingredients inside
into a flour wrapper lastly, deep fry all of the ingredients. Don’t forget to put the white
sauce once all is done and cooked because this is the most important thing to finish the
product. White sauce can serve as our garnish to make it original and flavorful and can
attract possible consumers of our product.

In conclusion, gather the needed information to improve our product. Here we
innovated and tested everything in order for us to maintain the standards and the
capability of our product. And that our initial product serves as the foundation for
developing a new line of finger foods to be known throughout the entire food business.
